The Roman (Danish) Fleet, Survey Alert and This Month

Posted by SunTzuGames (Creator)

Attention Legionaries,

I hope you're enjoying the week, and maybe your looking forward to a long weekend ahead of you? :) I've been very busy this past month as the Lieutenant School peaks in terms of activities, but it's also a great joy to see our future leaders grow with each new day.

The Roman (Danish) Fleet

The games are now in-route to our fulfillment partners in the US and Germany, from where all countries will be serviced.

If you're interested in following the ships, you can do so here: (just type in the ship's name in the top right search bar).

Games for US, CA and Rest of World is on board the vessel ADRIAN MAERSK

  • Departure, Shanghai: 28th of April 2018
  • ETA at Quartermaster Logistics: 30th of May 2018

Games for Europe is on board the vessel MARCHEN MAERSK

  • Departure, Shanghai: 9th of May 2018
  • ETA at HappyShops: 9th of June 2018

This means that the games should be at your doorstep within 3 weeks of the date mentioned above if we add a little extra time for potential prolonged handling at customs in the ports (this will of course depend on how close you live to the respective fulfillment centers, so some variations will occur).

Survey Alert

Please be aware that I'll send out the Kickstarter Backer Survey within the next 2 weeks, giving you around 2 weeks to answer it, before the final list needs to be in the hands of the fulfillment partners.

  • If you don't fill out the survey in time, you'll "just" be put in the back of the queue.

And please please please make sure you fill out the Kickstarter Survey properly. There will be some helping text to every box, but in the end it's your responsibility to make sure the game can be delivered correctly by providing the right details :)

  • Make sure to fill out the survey with details that allows the game to arrive within the following 1-1,5 month. If you're moving in that period, use your parents' or friends' address instead (retours cost a lot of money).

This Month

My to-do for this and next month (May/June) looks like this:

  • Send out Backer Survey.
  • Ready lists for fulfillment partners.
  • Play test some more Barbarian Uprising ;)
  • Add new Ancient Battles, 2v2 battles and more to my website.

Next update will arrive alongside the Backer Survey, as a friendly reminder :)

That's it for now - may you all have a great day - and thank you for following me through the whole project :)

Best regards Emil

Awesome!!! Yes I would love that. I hope it develops to fruition. I'll be sure to give the PnP a go :)

@MadScientist: You're spot on... it's the very same map, just in its final form ;)
I'm planning on making the campaign expansion available as a free P'n'P version during development, and then launch it at some point on Kickstarter.

I'm really looking forward to this part, as that's how the game was initially imagined :)

What's this image I see of Rome?
I reminds me very much of the map you used in the prototype of Burning Rome.
Can we hope to see a map to march our armies on in the future?
It would be great to move them around and fight out the battles with the cards!

Thanks for update - looking good
