After watching some documentaries and feeling inspired to feel better and look better through juicing, Meagan shared her excitement about a juicing business with Erin, who quickly jumped on board as she's always been passionate about food and health. Prophetically, the Sunshine Stand was born on Independence Day... or the day after, whatever! The Sunshine Stand was set up at thhe downtown Evansville Farmer's Market where the girls were immediately embraced. With so much love, support, and encouragement, they decided to expand to the Old Town Sunday Market and Mid-town Farmer's Market and various art & music festivals.
Towards the end of the summer Meagan and Erin began exploring ways to provide juice to Evansvillian's year round, but none of the options felt just right. While the Sunshine Stand took a short hiatus, the dreams and research continued. A trip to cold press juiceries in Phoenix Arizona and Los Angeles California sold the girls on cold pressing. Between the incredible benefits and the bottling advantage, it only made sense.
Now, $15,000 is the only thing standing in the way of Evansville having fresh, raw, organic, cold-press juice 365 days a year. With Meagan & Erin's passion, juicing expertise, and the support of the Evansville community, they believe the dream of Sunshine Juice Co. is just over the horizon.

Risks and challenges
Like any business, we are aware that challenges exist. Fortunately, we both have experience in management; more specifically, Meagan has experience in Restaurant Management. With our ability to creatively problem solve and our abundance of local resources, we feel very confident in this endeavor. We're thankful to also have several small business owners as mentors and supporters.
