TAKE 30 SECONDS TO VOTE FOR SUNSET AND THE MOCKINGBIRD!
The folks at Mindscape Film Festival liked our trailer for Sunset and the Mockingbird so much they asked us if they could include it in their short film festival.
We were honored and said YES and now it's in competition. The film that gets the most votes by August 3rd will win cash and prizes.
Can you take literally 30 seconds to:
Click on this link, choose our film from the list, and enter your email address?
They'll email you for confirmation and that's all there is to it.
Make sure to cast your vote by August 3rd, and If you have a few more seconds to post the link on social media and ask others to vote as well, great.
We'll send a detailed update about the film's progress in the coming weeks, but for now, here's a couple photos from our shoot yesterday at the Genetics and Aging Research Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Gloria met with Rudy Tanzi, world-renowned scientist in the fields of neuroscience and genetics, Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School, and a talented musician. (In his spare time he plays keyboard with the likes of AeroSmith, among others.)
Dr. Tanzi co-discovered three of the first Alzheimer’s disease genes and has identified several others in the Alzheimer’s Genome Project, which he directs.
He and Gloria met to talk about Junior and he praised her as a remarkable caregiver to a remarkable man. He even encouraged her to write a book about her experience and suggested the title, Go with The Flow, which Gloria liked.
He'll be in New York next month and is hoping to meet Junior and jam with him (which of course, we'll film.)
Thanks so much for your continued support,
Adam, Jyllian, Kali, Sarit, and Celia
