"After the success of Men Of Utah™, not just here through the first Kickstarter but all over the internet, friends and fans have waited for more. Even my regular day-to-day photography clients asked for cowboy-themed photos for themselves. It was obvious that Men Of Utah™ SUNDANCERS had gathered a momentum and was undeniably the beginning of a series.
Admittedly, we tried too early to change the format... I had thought that all of the fans may have wanted to see something different. We tried, in 2016, to do our take on the Ski-bunny lifestyle with SNOWBIRDS. My inspirational thought was "cabins, hot tubs and bear skin rugs, with a sort of urban, Zoolander-style twist." While he models had a good time taking protional shots, that was not really what fans were looking for. They want the real-life, home-spun cowboys.
So we held off.
During this time, the popularity of my photography 'business' was truly increasing in stride, my clientele base was growing significantly, and my 'technique' continued to fine-tune itself beyond what I thought possible. I used the time focusing my eye on content, composition and the nitty-gritty details of capturing every element important to portrait and physique photography. My career was also putting me in touch with many more potential models who were very interested in being a part of the brand.
And the cowboys, the essence of the real men of Utah, never left my head.
And so, with great pride, we bring you the second and third Men Of Utah™ offerings. BOUNTIFUL and SONS OF ADAM. The first goes back to the basics — Real Utah men in rural ranch landscapes — and the second takes these men into the studio for exquisitely-detailed landscapes of the human form (with no clothing to get in the way.)
Please take a look at BOTH the videos above. BOUNTIFUL promises to give you more locations, more atmosphere and yes, many more of the true men of Utah. And with the artistically-themed SONS OF ADAM, I think you will not be disappointed that while the cowboy hats and boots are gone, the scenery still is amazing.
Thank you for all of the support through this and I look forward to putting these books together for you!"

TWO NEW PHOTO BOOKS IN THE MEN OF UTAH™ SERIES!
"BOUNTIFUL" and "SONS OF ADAM" are the second and third installment in the Men Of Utah™ series — this time featuring a sensual array of men in two distinctly different motifs.
(Book One) BOUNTIFUL: The Men Of Utah
"BOUNTIFUL" presents twelve Utah "cowboys" in the magnificent splendor that is Utah, much like "SUNDANCERS" (the first of the series). These twelve "real-Utah" men are photographed at work and at play, in solitude or engaged with each other, shot against arguably some of the most spectacular rural landscapes in the nation. This book will focus on the myth of the Utah man, and enhancing it through dramatic scenic locales, emotional atmospheres and, of course, sensual (if not tastefully erotic) muscular physiques. These men are as "BOUNTIFUL" as the Promise Land itself.
(Book Two) SONS OF ADAM
"SONS OF ADAM" is a far different work, edgy and evocative, yet slickly stylized and sensual. Shot in studio, this book captures the awe-inspiring physiques of twelve Utah men "as God created them," with fierce precision to detail as only Blake Yelavich can deliver.
BLAKE YELAVICH - PHOTOGRAPHER
Having quickly established himself as a gifted and promising photographer, visual poet and artist, Yelavich’s greatest accomplishment in his work is to discover, embrace and capture the depths of masculine yet sensitive beauty in all its physical glory.
His exquisite use of lighting, attitude and environment are remarkable and oftentimes the first aspect one notices about his work; even his off-handed photographs reveal a tone of sophistication rarely achieved in other books that focus on the male physique.
Yelavich grew up in California and Texas, and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, to work as Caesar (yes, the costumed "spokesperson") for Caesars Palace, where he was photographed with thousands of visiting tourists, celebrity guests and Caesars Colosseum performers on a daily basis. There, through a series of whirl-wind opportunities, he found a great passion for physique photography and being behind the camera. His connections with the other performers on the Las Vegas Strip provided him an almost unlimited clientele-base, each of whom needed headshots, modeling shots and physique shots for their own use in the performance, entertainment and bodybuilding/physique industries.
Yelavich quickly became recognized for his outstanding eye for the "details of physique" — winning awards for his portrait photography within his first year. After his stint with Caesars Entertainment was ended, Yelavich moved to Salt Lake City, and within the first twelve months in Utah established the highly successful Men Of Utah™ brand.
His first book of portraits, SUNDANCERS: THE MEN OF UTAH, a book focusing on "Twelve Brothers, One Ranch, One Day In The Promise Land" was funded through KICKSTARTER and published to critical acclaim in 2015. Quickly collecting more than 5000 followers world-wide immediately after its release, his work is now followed by tens of thousands on social media across the globe.

Risks and challenges
"Attempting to produce two books at once, might sound like a crazy task, especially when dealing with such different styles and genres. But, quite frankly, the idea was borne during the shooting of the first book SUNDANCERS.
There were many times, during that first round of shooting, that — for various reasons — both model and photographer wanted to shoot "in studio" where the lighting, weather, and temperature was controlled. I truly love studio portraiture, where I can control the precise direction of the lighting. The non-model guys feel comfortable there as well, where they have more than one-shot at getting a photograph "right." Also, in studio, both photographer and subject has the luxury to (almost) immediately see the portrait on a computer screen.
Then again, nothing beats the challenge of driving out to a gritty rural location, figuring out how to stage the guys, and positioning them in what "God's Lighting" has given you (that in itself is a little joke we've picked up along the way while producing these books.) Surrendering to what your constraints may be is a huge factor in growth, and gives the realistic edge to capturing these real Utah guys.
The talent is there, the equipment is available, the locations are easily scouted... Our biggest risk and challenge is believing in the generosity of our supporters and earning and keeping their belief in us. And that is why we call our highest supporters 'Angels' — because they provide us the wing and the prayer."
