Sing-a-wrong is a strategic card game that slots totally "Wrong" words into the most popular songs from decades of great music.
Players try to steal cards from fellow players by carefully piecing together the correct song lyrics and artists while not being totally distracted by the innuendos, obscene words and laughter from fellow players.
The game gets challenging as you have no control of the music genre or choice of "wrong" words. You need to obscure the identity of the real song you are reciting to your friends to collect as many cards as possible to win the game.
Hidden inside the decks are also strategy cards to spice things up during the game, but we have put a spin on them. Below are just a few of them.

The game easily becomes family friendly by simply adding the "Kids Extension Pack" This is an additional pack which you simply swap the Adult themed "Wrong" words with.
That's not all
We need your help, we will also be giving backers of our rewards a chance to create their own card. Within the "Wrong" cards we will be creating 50 "Alien" words, these will be words made up by the backers and go into print on the final game.
How it all started
The game has been played for years with our family and friends on scrappy pieces of paper and we decided it was finally time to create a re-usable card version of the game. We enlisted the help of a designer who quite simply didn't do our vision of the game true justice. Several attempts later we finally opened up a contest via a freelance website and from it came the final card graphics you see today.
So we had the graphics sorted but needed to finalise the song selection that was appropriate for all ages and people of all music tastes, after dredging the music archives we finally had several thousand of the most popular songs which we then shortlisted for the final game. The easy part of the game development was choosing the "Wrong" words...a night with friends, lots of wine and laughter we had enough words for every innuendo you could imagine.
So where are we at now?
With your backing we can independently release this great new game. Each person that backs the project will receive a copy the game, cutting out the middle man and helping to launch this new product.
Risks and challenges
The manufacture of the game is simple as its a card game. The design has already been completed so the only additional financial costs are for the print set up costs and therefore requiring a low break even cost for the project.The printing and manufacture of packaging is being taken care of by professional printers. We will be working closely with the printers to make sure all our backers get their rewards as quickly as possible.
