About
Imagine a NEW horror movie starring Kane Hodder who played Jason and Tyler Mane who played Michael Myers, and imagine YOU helping make the movie!
Casket County Massacre is a new concept in filmmaking. It’s an original feature-length movie that will be made with the help of horror fans all over the country, to bring horror fans a movie experience that goes way beyond sitting in a movie theater.
It’s an opportunity for you, the horror fan, to participate in the making of a studio-quality film with unprecedented access to the cast, the crew, and the creative decision-making throughout the process.

In this film, Kane and Tyler play psychotic killers from the 1850s. Along with their brain-damaged brother, they’re known as the Garlock Gang. On a cold day in 1851, they rode into Casket County and murdered everyone in town… all because they wanted to steal their gold. But they never found any gold, and to this day they are doomed to search for the missing treasure in Casket County ghost town. The only thing that can stop them is a shot from the 3-barrel revolver carried by Garlock himself.
Don’t get the wrong idea. This isn’t a Western. This is a modern day tale that begins when an all-girl rock band rolls into Casket County to make a music video. Well, the Garlock Gang doesn’t take kindly to uninvited guests. And the rest of the story, well, you’ll have to wait for that.
The best horror films have always been independent films. And by doing this Kickstarter campaign, we will be truly independent.
But this isn’t just about making a great horror film. This is about creating a fan experience by involving you in the process of making the film. YOU, the horror fan, will actually help make a studio-quality horror film starring your favorite horror movie icons.
We’ve been out at the horror conventions talking to hardcore horror fans and we have faith you’re going to really enjoy helping us make this film. And you have all sorts of ways to get involved with this project.
Imagine getting slaughtered by Kane Hodder, Jason from Friday the 13th. Or have your throat slit by Tyler Mane, Michael Myers from Halloween. Those opportunities are available. You’ll be able to watch auditions and vote for the actors and actresses you want to see in the film. Even help us decide who lives and who dies.
Everyone who joins us at the Filmmaker level and above gets access to our Filmmaker website for amazing behind-the-scenes experiences throughout the production. You’ll have the chance to participate from start to finish. Your voice will be heard and your vote will count. It’s a fan experience unlike anything that’s ever been done before.
Kane and Tyler are on board. Now we need your help, because without you, none of this can happen. So the fate of this film project is in your hands. It’s gonna be a wild ride. So get ready, and JOIN THE MASSACRE NOW!
Thank you!

Risks and challenges
The biggest challenge of this effort will be involving you, the fans, in the creative process without compromising the quality and originality of the film. We think we can do it, and we feel confident we will be able to give you meaningful input at the various stages of the creative process. There may be challenges to the creation and management of the Filmmaker website, but we will do our best to provide regular updates and fresh behind-the-scenes content.
The challenges associated with delivering DVDs and Blu-ray copies of the film in May 2013 are subject to our ability to shoot in January or early February, but we are shooting in Southern California and the weather is pretty cooperative. We also have access to interior sound stages which will help us remain productive if weather becomes an issue.
If you choose an award that involves appearing in the film or being present on the set, the risk is that you may not be available on the days we are shooting or the shooting schedule shifts due to unforeseen circumstances.
We thank you for taking a chance with us on this exciting an innovative approach to creating a horror film for true horror fans!
