Update #8: £60k, Juggernauts and Carpets

Hey folks,

Very brief update today detailing a few changes we've made to the playable showcase to celebrate us hitting the £60,000 milestone! Over the next few updates we are going to be adding some basic gameplay functionality to the showcase, the first of which you saw yesterday with the addition of the RTS camera and possessable workers.

The first addition for today's update is a small Empire base with some patrolling Juggernauts — try not to get too close, they tend to be quite violent.

Secondly, we've updated the Archive with the results of the first Build-A-Room poll and filled the entire room with a rather comfortable carpet. The second Build-A-Room poll will be opening in the next few days and will allow you to vote on various styles of wall.

Click here to check out these changes now!

Until next time Underlord,

-WFTO Team

Alan, the web-based showcase is just as big of a download as the download version I'm pretty sure. And that would be cool Matthew, I do kind of feel that it's something that should be done in an official capacity, with a voice over describing the additions, every time there's a showcase update though. there was one guy on YT that did a video with the first version, and another one after the treasury was opened up, but hasn't done one since unfortunately.

Yo for anyone that doesn't want to keep downloading the showcase, I can post a short video on YouTube of me exploring the showcase if you want?

I'd agree with the downloadable showcase that maybe a small patch might do, but you can look at it online aswell on the site.

Totally agree Malyanan, more screenshots from the showcase,
Also a brief video of the updates to the showcase every time there's an update would be good too, not everyone wants to download 150mb every time there's an update, some people have capped internet etc. videos are easier to share than the showcase as a whole too. i can post videos on facebook etc. can't as easily post the showcase.

Thanks for the stills! That's a great addition to the updates for those who (like me) can't play and/or download the showcase. :)
