Hello lovely backers,

We're overjoyed to have reached over 20% in just over 3 days and this is where it gets serious. We need your help to get the word out to more people about the Music Memory Box campaign, so it can be put into production and reach all the families that need one.

What better reason to talk about it than today, International Women's Day?

Music Memory Box was designed by an incredible young woman designer entrepreneur Chloe Meineck (you may have seen some of her awards on our Kickstarter profile...) last International Women's Day she was named one of 200 Women Redefining the Creative Industry and this year she's been profiled by Watershed's Pervasive Media Studio, on her "quiet rebellion of designing things carefully".

Dementia itself impacts women disproportionately with 61% of people living with dementia being women, that's 500,000 women in the UK alone. 71% of all unpaid dementia carers are women, providing over 58 billion hours of free labour globally per year. Women are 2.4 times more likely to provide round the clock care for someone living with dementia than men and 19% of them have quit their job to care for someone living with dementia.

Why not share these stats, raise awareness of dementia and the way music can have a positive affect on all people living with dementia themselves and caring for those living with dementia? Or just share to support the amazing woman who created it?

Thanks again for your support,

Jess
