@ Ismael Miranda: if you choose to have the watch without engraving or printing, there is nothing else to distinguish them from the "others".

If I chose not to have the engrave case back, I would still have a number or something to recognize the watch as first edition?

@ Lan Kangming: Black lume (as we use on certain models) is prized like pure gold. We did this anyway for markers and hands because it is cool and makes them stand out. But to do that on the bottom.....not realistic really.

      Hi Stephan,

might sound a bit crazy or maybe not possible technically or economically.. but just wondering.. would it be more awesome if the black portion has lume?

not the most practical suggestion given that it won't receive light normally and had to be deliberately shown under light to get the effect.. but well.. just thought it could be cool.

can't wait to receive both the mechanical and quartz watches!

@ JEFFREY WEBB: thank you for your feedback. We love it. It is a mission impossible to satisfy all. We knew that the moment we decided to go for an engraving.

Yes, we will make it possible to have the watch in the "original" version. We will include that option when we send out the questionnaire to gather all of your data, colors and options.

That looks awful and tacky, has almost put me off buying the watch. Any possibility of receiving the watch without this image on the back?
