The Next Steps for Stone and our Backers
As our campaign is nearing to the end, we want to update you all on the process that will to follow from the end of the campaign until you receive your very own Stone notebooks.
Before we can fully start moving with fulfilment, we will have to wait one week for Kickstarter to sort out payments. During that time we will be setting up BackerKit, a platform used to send you all surveys where you will be asked to specify details about your order (like what cover colour your Stones should be). Here you will also be able to buy additional Stones, Stone Memos, monogramming and other updates to your order. If you have pledged any extra money over your reward tier, this amount will be available as credit to you for these extras. And if you asked us to add any extras to your reward via personal message, you will be able to use this credit just for that. If by any chance you can’t use your credit to get your requested upgrade, please contact email@example.com after you fill out the survey.
So please expect an email from BackerKit with a link to your personalised survey in 1 week. It’s important to respond to this survey as quickly as possible since we need to collect this information from the majority of our backers to start fulfilling your rewards. You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, just click the survey link to respond. After you have answered the survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts. Please note that if you used your Facebook profile to log in to your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account.
As we will have to wait a week to send out the surveys and then about a week or two for the majority of them to be processed, we will start dispatching your orders mid to late May. We’re thrilled that our project was funded over 800% but, understandably, with over 4000 pledges to fulfil, there is another layer of complexity to the shipping process. We promise to do everything in our power to get your Stones to you as soon as possible but, due to these circumstances, we will be unable to deliver the Stones to everybody by the end of May. We promise to keep the delay to a minimum and that if you don’t get your Stones in May, you will get them as close to then as possible. We will keep you updated through the whole process, telling you when your order is being processed and when it is being shipped. We are incredibly excited about Stone’s future and as our first customers, so we want to keep you happy!
As a final note, we want to let you know that soon after this campaign ends and we fulfil all pledges of our backers, the Stone notebook will be available to the general public. We will be launching a dedicated website where customers will be able to buy Stone notebooks, Stone Memos and there is a good chance you will be able to find Stone notebooks in your favourite stationery or kitchen shop by the end of the year – safe in the knowledge that you got one first! We will keep you updated on all key news through our mailing list (if you are not interested though don’t worry, you will be able to unsubscribe any time).
