Production Update #2
it's time for another production update :)
The machining of all pen components has been completed. The parts are currently in surface treatment which means they are being bead-blasted and afterwards anodized or PVD-coated. We also received a final production sample of the complete pen last week. It looks really great and all minor flaws of the first samples have been eliminated!
Only the caps with clip are not in surface treatment yet. We are currently waiting for a final production sample of the clip cap for approval.
We expect to start the assembly process in the first half of October. We also received the first batch of steel nibs (2000pcs) by Peter Bock and converters last week.
The latest production sample of the Base turned out to be not 100% satisfactory. We made some minor changes on the inner design. In particular, we now use a separate rubber part instead of a rubber coating to protect the pen's surface when put inside the Base.
