What do I get if I pledge?
The Book: This edition of Brick by Brick will contain exclusive content-- an extra three essays that won't appear on the website! Those essays will include Name it to Wield it, Divide and Conquer, and Work to Work. You can get this book in both digital and printed formats, and there is even an option to get a signed copy with a sweet sketch inside of the elephant from my comic essay: Hug the Elephant.
Posters: These 18 by 24 inch posters will encourage you throughout your day and remind you of important principles. Currently, only two essays will be available as posters: Be Friends with Failure, and Be Proactive, Not Reactive. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you'd like to see another one of my essays made into a poster!
Inked Commission: Get an original drawing of a full body figure of your choice penciled and inked on an 8.5 by 11 inch piece of bristol board! Subject matter must be PG and no greater in detail than the image above.
Digital Painting: Commission me to do a digital painting for you or a loved one! Subject matter must be PG and no greater in detail than the images above. You will have a round of feedback at the end of the rough pencil stage to make sure I get the details right. From there I'll take the sketch and make it into a painting. When I'm done I'll send you a print resolution file of the image!
Comic Essay: Do you have an idea you'd like to spread? Does your business need to explain a complicated product or idea to customers? Comics is one of the best mediums to spread ideas and unpack difficult concepts. At the highest pledge tier, you can commission me to write and illustrate a comic essay of up to eight pages about your concept or idea! You will have a round of feedback at the end of the rough pencil stage to make sure I get the details right. From there I'll take the rough pages and render them in a style similar to the essays in Brick by Brick. When I'm done I'll send you a print resolution file of the image!
NOTE: This reward is contingent on my approval, so please contact me with a description of your idea before backing this tier! Once I agree to take on the project, then you can move forward with the pledge! Thank you!
Risks and challenges
Although I have experience from working with a mainstream publisher for the past four years, this my first foray in crowd funding and self publishing and I'm a total beginner! I'm confident I can meet the challenges, but if you have any advice you think might help, please shoot me an email at email@example.com!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
