Today, our design tools are optimised for illustration. Drawing tools are great for illustration, icons, brand design and exploration. But when designing interactive components, complex layouts and user interfaces—we need something more powerful. It makes no sense to draw static pictures of buttons, inputs and dropdowns.
Modulz is specifically designed to produce interactive, accessible, production-ready components and interfaces.

Risks and challenges
I (Colm) have been working on Modulz part-time for about a year. Stephen joined about 4 months ago and we've both been working full-time on Modulz since. Things are moving quickly and we already have a lot of the core product built out.
However, Modulz is a complex product and a significant engineering challenge. There are aspects to the product which haven't been figured out yet. There will be more obstacles to overcome too. As with any software project, estimates may shift a little.
Modulz has a Spectrum community where backers can ask questions and chat directly with us. You can track our progress, request features, check out sneak peeks.
We'll be honest and regular with our updates and keep everyone clued in as things ebb and flow.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
