Gaming with the Iron Age Farmstead

Hello everyone.

I met up with my friend Tim last night and we had a game of Hail Caeasr!  I was Republican Rome (with some allies) and he played as the infamous Carthaginian horde. This game was a good chance for the Iron Age Farmstead to get some local exposure.

Our game was just held at a "stop in and game" shop where we just grab what scenery and terrain pieces were on hand.  I brought the Iron age farmstead along to see how it would look in a proper game.  I also met a few folks that took interest in the farmstead and they are now also backing this project!

Here's some chaos going down at the farm while the forces of Rome and Carthage smash into each other.

All seems so peaceful.

As the armies continue fighting and pass through the area, battlefield looters and bandits emerge. Woe to the farmers!

As you can see, we had a fairly simple set up.  The Iron Age Farmstead is pre-painted and ready to throw down on a table like this.  But there's nothing stopping you from going up and beyond the basics with a much more detailed and enhanced looking table!  The raw resin versions also allow you to paint your own colours to match your own needs!

Thank you everyone who has backed this project so far! We're still promoting this project everywhere we can! There's only a little more than 8 days left and we still need backing to reach our funding goal! Again I ask you all to please spread the news where you can about our project.

Thank you for reading, and have an excellent day!

@Team Dread Streets - Personally I have yet to play God of Battles, but when we were designing this project's blueprints we looked at historical 28mm wargaming in general. :)

I imagine those would work pretty well for baggage trains and camps in God of Battles too. Did you have that game ind mind?
