Once we get through all of the initial Kickstarter orders, we will begin to offer Statement for sale below:
"Art Meets Function," is our belief that everything designed should function as art and as a quality product.
What is Statement?
Statement is an American-made bicycle rack that is designed to serve as a piece of art when it's not holding a bicycle.
Designed to last a lifetime, Statement is made from American-sourced birch hardwood, anodized aluminum, and stainless steel hardware.
You may spend thousands on a high-quality bicycle, and you should expect the same quality from the rack holding your bike.
As cyclists, we began searching for a bicycle rack that could securely store our bike and also look beautiful on our walls as a standalone piece. After searching for months, we were dissatisfied with what the market offered—so we decided to design our own.
We have spent the last year forming relationships with local businesses to help us manufacture Statement on a large scale. We are using a family-run machine shop approaching its second decade of business right here in the USA.
We have also sourced American wood and USA-made components, thus ensuring that we have complete control in overseeing the entire manufacturing process.
Lastly, we bend, sand, and laminate the wood in our own shop, making sure each piece is of the highest quality possible.

Daniel Sculnick is an Industrial Designer and artist who has been working with wood and metal for most of his life. For the past 5 years, he's been developing and designing products for an aerospace company called Perfect Point EDM. That experience is what motivated him to design his own product.
Raul Diaz is a craftsman, artist, and CEO of Native Standard. He has an extensive background in art and apparel manufacturing. Additionally, he was a proud member of the Los Angeles Carpenters Union.
Statement is the first product to come out of the Native Standard Collective, which is a new collaboration aimed at showcasing high-quality, American-crafted goods.
Thank you for the support. We will make you proud.
Risks and challenges
Our first challenge is to make sure that our project gets the exposure it needs to be successfully funded. We are going to be working with several blogs to help us get noticed. We are also counting on the support of our backers to help us spread the word.
Another big risk and challenge is being able to fulfill the orders we receive in a timely manner. We spent the last couple of years making sure that we found the right manufacturing partners. These companies have been in business for decades, providing mass scale manufacturing for thousands of companies. We look forward to adding our company to the list.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
