The Tabletop AR App will allow you to bring your Role-play sessions to life by bringing Augmented Reality digital assets into your games.

Marker based Augmented Reality
Our App works using markers, or tiles. These are simply printed designs that your phone registers when you are in the App. We're being as open as possible with the distribution of these designs, allowing you to print the markers which we will distribute to our backers in the form of PDFs. Our backers are free to print these markers (as long as you are not profiting from distributing them).
Feel free to not only print the markers at home for personal use, but also use them on 'town plan maps' or scene set ups. Like our own 'floor mats'.
We will also distribute professionally printed tiles that will improve the user experience by reducing the gloss, improving the image richness and sharpness of the markers. This will all work together to further improve the stability and usability of the system.
Integrate our App with your Miniature Collection
While Table Top AR can stand alone in your games, it's also perfect for being used alongside your current 25-28mm miniature collections. Simply bring the AR Table Top markers and use them to supplement your existing game play.
With this tech it's totally possible to pack an entire session in a small carry case, a town, several giant monsters and anything else you'll need to wow your fellow players. It's never been so easy to travel with everything you need to play.
Our app will be able to run a native Mixed Reality setting, that will allow users to don 'Google Cardboard' Type Virtual Reality headsets, allowing them to view the App, not only in Augmented Reality, but also in Mixed Reality.
A non perfect solution, but a way into Mixed Reality that doesn't involve purchasing extremely expensive Holo-lens hardware. For most people this will be a great opportunity to try Mixed Reality for the first time!
We will be distributing specially selected headsets with many of our package types, that will allow players to wear the Cardboard headsets at the table!
If you are a Holo-lens user, fear not, one of our stretch goals is to further our software licensing, so as to integrate a Holo-lens MR solution in our app.
We've been busily working to pack as much original content into this app as possible. All the development work is done in house by our own small team.

Future Projects and Further Development
We want to do more with this project, we want to create character selectors, allow you to bring your own models and animations into the app and have an unlimited ability to customize our models and creations in your own time.
Rather than trying to get these development projects promised in this project, creating a huge target goal, we hope to continuously launch new and interesting products, each time we launch we hope to build ourselves up to being able to offer new and more complex products. Then looking back at our previous work to integrate that new functionality.
Watch this space, we've only just gotten started. We want to stick around, we've got the responsibility to continue to develop our products, but we want to primarily fund this by launching interesting and original solutions.

Styled to work in collaboration with the Human Town models, Castle walls and large 'city buildings' will open up the ability for Game Masters to create city scenes and settings.

The second 'instance setting'; by simply flip a switch on your device, to change the scene to night time, with a full model skin swap and lighting changes, a second instance of EVERY model will allow you to change the experience of your players on the fly.
- 100,000 - Weather Settings
The third 'instance setting'; by a simple switch on your device, you will be able to change the seasons on display, snow, wild animals, flare and lighting changes will make it possible to faithfully display a range of seasons and weathers. This will involve specific modelling animations, lighting systems and new skins on every scenery piece in the app!
- 125,000 - Holo-lens Compatibility
We will expand our tech licensing and integrate a range of wearable Holo-lens technologies in our build.
- 150,000 - Cross Device Connections
The GM will unlock the ability to manage the game system cross device. Setting the scene by 'managing' the game from their own device. This is the only promise we have yet to be able to fulfill in house (Network Expert needed), beyond our in-house capacities, we will hire externally to fulfill this functionality. Once built we will have gained the ability to integrate the learning from the solutions given, giving us the ability to launch work in the future with this functionality.
Risks and challenges
Time frames are always challenging, we have proven ourselves capable to work at a lightning pace and continually share our projects progress with our followers on Facebook and YouTube. We might be late to launch, but we wont ever be late to let you know that we've been held up.
We've play tested the app on several devices already, so the major risk we foresaw has already been averted. (This app will launch on all major mobile platforms).
We believe we have scoped our 'promises' well, but it is a lot of work. It is possible for us to 'update' the app at a later date, if we can't keep up with all the new modelling work we've promised.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
