MEET greensens SMART home plant SENSORS!
The starter kit contains three houseplant sensors and a WLAN USB hub.
The hub helps to connect sensors to the Internet and the greensens App worldwide.
greensens sensors are easy to install and they fit in every pot with a handy and fresh design.
With the greensens sensors you can easily measure the health status of your houseplants by accessing information at any time, from any place.
You can connect up to 10 houseplant sensors to a single hub and monitor the condition of your plants via our app.
From our app, you can see exactly how much water, light and temperature your plants need to thrive.
The greensens system includes flower sensors, a USB gateway and free mobile app. You just need to plug in your gateway to a permanent power source in the USB port, such as a WLAN router, your smart phone wall socket, etc. Next you can register you system and enjoy a variety of features.
All this functionality is spread between our plant sensor and data analysis, with all the calibration and information stored in a database. The sensor itself measures 3 parameters: soil moisture, ambient temperature and light conditions. Also, these data are sent to our DB, analysed and sent further on to your mobile app, scaling precisely to your unique plant.
Inside the greensens devices you won't see many parts as they are very optimised for the maximum functionality and best efficiency.
Interaction with the system is very simple, just three easy steps and you ready to go!
First you need to register your gateway and then you can connect the sensors. After your smart greensens sensor has fully changed, it will notify you over the App, and you can see the new sensor on the screen. Every sensor has its own unique serial number and during the sensor registration process you can select from our database your plant type. Sensor registration is very simple, once app notified you that sensor is charged, you can open the and tilt the sensor down and back. This motion let you sign-up sensor with the system and let you select the houseplant you want to use with.
After you have finished your registration, place your sensor into your flower pot, and you will always be notified if your beloved plants feel thirsty, wither in poor light conditions, or the ambient temperature is not ideal.
The highly intuitive greensens app lets you access your data in an easy and comfortable manner. The main screen shows you all your plants with their corresponding statuses, such that you have a quick overview of all of your cherished plants. Every plant has it own best of range conditions. With that in mind, in each of the detailed plant statuses, you'll see scaled ranges based on our data bank for your plant type.
The app is compatible with Android and iPhone.
Our data bank includes over 5000 plants from all over the world!
In order to create it, we work closely with our official partner, Geisenheimer University in Germany. This is an agriculture university, entailing also a department of cultivated plants. They have great experience and fascinating research programs in this field.
A major advantage of greensens houseplant sensors is that we use RF communication based on smart-home standards. Therefore, we can provide you with an affordable price, good coverage and flexibility. For the sensor connection, greensens sensors use a gateway which you can plug into any USB-Port with a constant power supply. This could be a WiFi router, phone charger or something else.
Compare to Bluetooth-based solution our sensors have greater range and can cover full regular apartment or one floor in the house. This gives you flexibility with sensors location.

We always love plants, and having some flowers in a house always makes it feel really cozy. However, there may be some stress involved. Confession time: I killed 20 houseplants by just forgetting to water them. Then I bought the next plant and watered it everyday, just to be sure it had plenty of moisture. But then it was way too much, and it died in 4 weeks from over watering. So I decided to find a smart solution online, and all of them are very expensive and data wasn’t available from outside my home. So in July 2018, our journey began.
Since the very beginning, we have worked in tight cooperation with our production partners to optimise expenses for each part and the overall manufacturing process. It’s crucial to know each part of the production cycle in great detail, in order to create a superior product that matches the pricing requirements, and offers a full range of functionality with the very best quality.
e managed to get the best developers on board to optimise our technology and HW prices, so that every household can enjoy the advantages of the IoT world and have nice green healthy plants. We worked on this product for over a year, and now we’re penny pinching to get the product costs down. At times, it took us weeks on end to devise creative methods to save just 1-2 cents, while not compromising any functionality. For example, to find the best solar cell, we spent over a year and a diligently half testing and researching, getting all sorts of different models from best suppliers. As most of the time home plats receive only artificial light, we fond the best option to work in most challenging conditions even under 400Lux.

The backend is where we create an optimised, secured and fast structure, to provide you with the very best service.

Plastic injection Mold: We work with leading product designers who help us prepare the body for easy and efficient production. Our surface finish has strict requirements, so we may expect some delays here to reach the best quality.
Certification: The process of certification depends on many factors and may influence our timeline.
