2016 marks the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death, so to celebrate Squirm & Learn have returned with an illustrated guide of the great bard's plays like you've never seen them before: all the talking taken out and a whole lot of blood thrown in! It's the perfect coffee table conversation piece whether you're a fan of old Will or just find good old fashioned comic ultra violence funny. We're into both, so we won't judge...
Each page contains the last words of the character (or words said about them), the play and scene they feature in and a graphic depiction of how they met their end; performed by one - or more - of the book's cast...
Chris Walker, the artist behind the Sinister Siblings from 'Let's Play: MURDER', has been hard at work creating a touring Am-Dram troupe for the new book. Join them on their tragic tour of village halls and corn exchanges as they take 'method acting' to another level when it comes to the death scenes.
Oh, and if you're hoping for a cameo from the Sinister Siblings from Let's Play: MURDER, you won't be disappointed.
We've designed this book to fit perfectly next to our debut Squirm & Learn book from last year. The 7" x 7" square format with double-page artworks fits comfortably in the hand and creates a sinister presence on the coffee table or book shelf. We're using the same paper and printer as last time so you're guaranteed a quality product.
Thanks so much for looking at our KickStarter! We hope you get involved with us to make this tribute to the legendary bard a reality. If you know anyone else who likes a dark laugh then please forward our book on as well! To see how the project is going, and to see your props if you back us, follow us on our Facebook page.
Our continued thanks also goes out to Dead Canary Books for helping us out, Laura and Pete for making us a great looking Kickstarter film, Vic for all her support and props once again to the wonderful Cait Fannin - without her this book would not have been possible. Fare thee well!
Risks and challenges
This will be our second book and we're using the same printers and publisher from last time, so we're not expecting any issues with this project. We're on a mission to hit the anniversary deadline so have given ourselves plenty of time to make this a reality.
Of course, if anything does come up we'll be sure to let everyone know right away, together with how we're going to solve it.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
