Good day, I have only now commissioned by CruxSkunk, but are having problems to charge the battery of the Skunk. After charging it for 24 hours, the red light is still flickering. Any advice or ideas?
Same problem here, Cruxskunk works only with USB cord is plug on ipad charger now!!! Is necessary reset it? How i can make this? Thank you Brian!

Attention to all potential Crux buyers:
DO NOT purchase anything from Brian Probst and the Crux team. I purchased their original Crux skunk and although it was a promising product, I have to give it a failing mark on almost every level listed by the following: 1. Very long delay in their initial production that saw close to a year past the projected launch resulting in many people getting their Units much later than anticipated.
2. Product flaws like not including a way to access the reset button after the unit wouldn't start. I needed to open the unit myself with a screw driver to have access to the mother board. I eventually drilled my own hole in the unit so I wouldn't have to keep doing that. Bad job on their end to forget to actually put a hole themselves.
3. They should have used a snap-on mechanism like they use in the Crux encore. The flimsy black clips kept breaking and every time I asked for extra clips they initially got back to me and would send me more, which brings me to the straw that broke the camels back:
4. Brian now hasn't sent me new clips after many E-mails where he said he would send them to me. Its been more than 4 months and I haven't used my Crux skunk because I don't have that stupid design flaw of cheap plastic clicks which are what the entire unit relies on. So like drilling the hole now I have to find my own way of clipping my iPad to the Unit. I paid all this money so I can play technician? I gave them credit for good customer service however that has now failed and I warned Brian Probst that I would send a message like this so he obviously doesn't care.
So I say to anyone reading this that you shouldn't spend your hard earned money on a business that has lack of diligence in their products and now have subpar customer service where the creator is not a man of his word. That's not who I would spend my money on after all of this and neither should you where there are LOTS of better products out there for a better price.

Hi Brian, 3 out of the 4 small black clips that hold the iPad in at the bottom have broken. I am sure you are getting a lot of feed back on this. I am wondering if you are thinking of a way to retro fit the clips to be more durable? I find that these clips are the only real negative part. Also it would be nice to be able to get the iPad out with out using a tool.

I have also had to take the round sticky pads off to access the screws and reset the keyboard when the battery has run out a couple of times and now the pads have lost their stick. Am I able to get more of those as well? Thanks!
Hi Brian, I am loving the Crux for my iPad2!! My last clip that holds the case in, however, has broken. How can I go about getting some replacements? Also, the hinge is not holding up very well (the iPad falls back) - is there a way to fix this? Please let me know who to contact for support.

@Sandra Gagnon yeah it happens,the creators don't like criticism so they take it out on the backers....i was called a bully last year by these creators...

Sandra Gagnon - We've tried contact you many multiple times with no response. It is impossible for us to help you if you don't contact us back. We suggest you try the Clamcase if you are unhappy with the CruxSKUNK. We do have plans for a new product and we will be giving all our kickstarter backers a special offer. Unfortunately you will not be able to take part in any future Crux offerings...Since we cannot make you happy with our products we suggest you try the Clamcase.

Mine started stiff and has more and more play till its barely holding the ipad up, it starts to slowly sink back down to flat. No sounds though
Not sure if any regular users are monitoring this page anymore, but for those that had the hinge issue... how did it start? Was your hinge stiff at first and then it developed a 'play' or did it always have a back and forth 'play'? I notice that if it is moved forward and then it moves to 'rest' backwards that it makes an audible muffled 'click' or 'tick' sound.
