Springboard Update: Serpent Stones Funds & Story Realms Coming Soon

Springboard and Game Salute are pleased to announce the Serpent Stones has reached its $5,000 funding goal and is now working toward a $7,000 stretch goal to add Teotl Power Stones to the game for all backers. 34 hours are left so it's not too late for you to jump on for this fast, tactical, 2-player game. SERPENT STONES

Story Realms combines elements of modern board games, traditional role-playing games, and interactive storytelling to create a unique family-friendly game-play experience that plays in about an hour. Playing Story Realms is an opportunity to build a shared experience of adventure, fun, cooperation, and create memories that will last long after the game is over. Look for Story Realms to launch on Kickstarter in the near future. STORY REALMS

Pixel Lincoln: Designer's Update

From Jason Tagmire...

GENCON

Hey everyone! Sorry about any delay in response here. I was out at Gen Con for a few days hosting a bunch of awesome, sold-out Pixel Lincoln game sessions. And after the sessions, we'd go back to the Game Salute booth and play some more. I met a bunch of you out there, and it was really great to meet you in person and thank you for your support.

CUSTOM CARDS

As for the custom cards, we received about 90 emails with images and info (if you haven't sent yours over yet, please do!). We've completed the artwork on about 85 of those, and we're moving onto the layout. Any delays on this were just to wrap up final art/graphic design on the main game, since that will need to go to the printers first.

If you want a sample of the custom character cards, check out this link: http://buttonshy.com/pixellincoln/custom/

Right now, the 4 Immortal Custom cards are there, and we'll be adding more custom characters as we finish them (and get approval to share them). Keep an eye on that link as well as PixelLincoln.com.

Springboard Here...If you have not already sent in your photos for card customizing, please send them to springboard@gamesalute.com as soon as possible.

PREVIEWS FROM THE FUTURE

And as for the preview copies, I'm not involved in the direct production process, but I can tell you that we finished up all of the art/graphic design for all of the cards, so it's definitely moving along.
Thanks everyone!

Springboard Here...We'll be uploading the preview cards to our Print-On-Demand partner next week and getting those preview copies out to you ASAP.

Custom Cards and The Lost Dutchman

A reminder for everyone who got a custom card: Please read Update #22 and follow the instructions there to send in your details.

If you haven't already done so, check out the our good friends Crash Games Kickstarter project for their gold mining board game, The Lost Dutchman. We were lucky enough to work together and create a pixel version of their prospector, who will be playable in the game. They are currently about 85% funded with only a few days left, so don't miss out!

Here's a look at the Pixel Prospector. He may end up in Pixel Lincoln: The Deckbuilding Game as well. :)
