Pixel Lincoln Test Print Unboxing!

Update Posted by Jason Tagmire, Designer

Hello friends. Things are moving forward with everything Pixel Lincoln over here, as we just received the test print for review. Are you prepared for a ton of images? Thanks to everyone who pledged we exceeded all of our initial goals and in the end, we have a jam backed box of awesomeness. I am so happy with how this came out, and I hope you guys are as well.

Note: The printing may look light and that's because it is. This is simply a test print for review purposes. Along with the printed materials came some high quality prints, showing the actual print quality. It's going to be super vibrant when finished. In the meantime, here are some images. Dialup users beware!

@Willie just sent the revised image.

@Erik Charboneau wherever you may be, I just sent your two images as well.

Whittling down to the last few!

@Jason: Thanks for the images! They look awesome!! I had a last-minute suggestion, purely on the hair color. Hope it's not too late to make it slightly darker!

Tell your artist that I appreciate all that they've done!! :D

@Adam I'm just waiting on the custom art on yours (and maybe 2 others that came over late). I'll bug our artist!

Jason, I contacted you on BGG about getting one of the extra "Pause" cards and about the status of my custom card. Thank you for the information on the former, but I didn't hear anything about the latter.

I sent in my design in December, any information you can provide would be great!

@Willie your card images were sent over tonight. Thanks!

Heh, all this time, I thought the penny included was just a normal penny. Color me impressed! Can't wait for this game, and for the custom card with my daughter and wife on it!

BTW, @Jason just wondering if you sent me the images of those custom cards. And I hope the modified abilities text work well! Thanks again for the update!!

Looks Great!!! I can't wait to get my hands on this and play it.

Now if only all my board game friends would stop moving away....

@Mercedes each player board has a personal score track on the backside. Scoring is only calculated at the end of the game, so everyone flips their board over and starts to tally their points. It's helpful when calculating as you can place the meeple down mid way, but it's also a great visual for high score.

      Looking awesome!!!
I wasn't sure what the score tracker is used for, but
I was wondering for the score track, will there be enough room if people all land on the same number?

Looks even cooler than I thought. Looking forward to playing this.

Looks great! Can't wait to get hands on it so I can play it! Any new printing/shipping estimates?

@pierre haha, check out the flat cover image for a better idea of the color. It won't be nearly as pale. Thanks everyone!

I'm a dummy who can't read, please disregard my comment about the paleness...

It's good looking, but seems a little "pale" to me... Is it just the photos or because they are proofs?

The penny and the backside of the level board (which I had never seen before) are quite awesome!

    15. Corvus Elrod on January 28, 2013

Beautiful! Can't wait to get my hands on it.

    16. Rob Gould on January 28, 2013

Looks great! 4Score is a very nice touch :)

Any new estimates on when we'll get our hands on this beauty?
Seems like that Chinese New Year thing won't work out after all?
