Spinning Wylde is a woman-owned and family-operated pop-up shop preparing fresh spun gourmet cotton candy (made with organic cane sugar and no artificial dyes) in 50 rotating flavors with fun toppings and a touch of whimsy.
Please help them transition from being a pop-up shop to having their first permanent brick-and-mortar store where they can continue spinning out smiles in the soon-to-open Keg and Case West 7th Market at the historic Schmidt Brewery complex in Saint Paul, Minnesota!
Spinning Wylde founder, Tevy, started out spinning cotton candy for her niece's birthday party. She created unique concoctions inspired by her Cambodian roots--incorporating flavors like sriracha, tamarind, or coconut into the cotton candy.
Tevy's cotton candy flavors were such a hit that she decided to become a vendor at Asian Economic Development Association's Little Mekong Night Market during the Northern Spark art festival last year. She named the business after her very spirited son, Wylde, and the whole family enjoyed pitching in and helping to spin out smiles!
Spinning Wylde's unicorn glow cones, which beautifully lit up the cotton candy clouds in different colors, were especially popular with both kids and adults alike. And with just a tablespoon of organic cane sugar used for each one, it's a treat that isn't overly indulgent!
Since then, Spinning Wylde has popped up at the North Local Market during Super Bowl 52 and at the RAAS Local Market in the Mall of America.
Now Spinning Wylde wants to transition from being a pop-up shop to having a permanent brick-and-mortar space inside the Keg and Case West 7th Market. Your Kickstarter contributions will help us build out the new store and you will be rewarded with special Spinning Wylde packages, including limited edition art prints from Minnesota food watercolorist, Cori Lin, and the opportunity to have Tevy fresh spin gourmet cotton candy at your next event!

Tevy's husband (a.k.a. "Dapper Dad") and cotton candy co-founder, Ben, built all of Spinning Wylde's pop-up spaces and mobile carts. With your support, he'll be the licensed contractor hard at work turning Tevy's design dreams into a reality by constructing Spinning Wylde's first permanent space inside the Keg and Case West 7th Market.
Please let us know if you have any questions, and thank you so much for helping to build out Spinning Wylde's first brick-and-mortar store. They can't wait to welcome you into their new home inside the Keg and Case West 7th Market!
With your support we can continue spinning out smiles and spreading the joy!
- Lots of Love from Tevy, Ben, Wylde & Family
Reviews of Spinning Wylde's Cotton Candy:
Risks and challenges
We're already spinning out cotton candy as a pop-up shop, so there are few risks and challenges with this project. The only risk is not meeting our Kickstarter goal, so please help spread the word to be sure and get your sweet treats!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
