About this project
The SpiderForest Webcomic Collective was founded in 2004 to be a home and collaborative community for quality, creator-owned webcomics of all genres. Together, we promote each other, help one another hone our crafts, collaborate on comics and art projects, and create a safe, positive online environment for webcomic creators to learn and grow.
This Kickstarter is to fund an offset print run of our first collective anthology! Our creators have come together and created 20 brand new short standalone comics in a variety of genres, from fantasy to cyberpunk to surreal, all incorporating spiders or forests in some way.

At the moment we're planning to print a small offset run, but the quantity of books can be expanded if the campaign does well, and we may be able to start adding fun extras if we meet our goal-- including new stories from other SpiderForest creators like Colbyfromage of Lintier and Delphina of Sombulus!
Risks and challenges
We have narrowed down a few reputable printers and gotten quotes; we will approach depending on the size of our print run needs, and we will work with them and with a prepress coordinator to ensure the paper and printing quality is to a professional standard. A number of our members have experience with printing similar books, and we have every confidence that we can make this happen!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
