This looks really intriguing. Todd demo'd an early prototype of this for me a couple years ago and it seemed to me he was breaking some new ground. I'd love to see it get made. Check it out! -- Peter Adkison, founder: Wizards of The Coast, Owner: Gen Con
It's a very intriguing game and a fascinating way to experience a story, but being The Last Minstrel can be a lonely affair. -- Jonathan H. Liu, Geekdad.com
The best single-player RPG experience I've ever had on the table-top. -- Jarvis Mishler, Sharkbone Podcast

About French Toast Gaming Co.
Hello to everyone from the design blog & everywhere else. We made it. And to those of you new to this endeavor, thank you for scrolling down this far.
To get real here for a minute, my name is Todd Michael Rogers, together with my cousin Lauren, and my friends Josh and Sakroka we spent the last 11 months getting this game ready for Kickstarter.
The game itself has almost four years of work put into it. We started with index cards and now we have something worth sharing. We hope you like it.
We know you're probably wondering what the progress is on this little project, and we're happy to say that the entire game has been designed, (it just needs some graphic design, more heavy playtesting, and about 1/3 of the art is still blank and awaiting Lauren's touch)
Both the Realwalker Prelude & Epilogue are written and awaiting further art and design.
And you can watch us design all of it by backing our project!
If anyone has ANY Questions, do not hesitate to contact us
Quality costs money. Bottom line.
- over 500 Chinese blue core casino stock cards w/rounded edges
- 6 holofoil cards (they cost almost 9 times as much as regular cards!)
- 2 full color rulebooks (over 80 pages total)
- heavy box w/ slipcase cover (holofoil for limited edition)
- full color tuck boxes for each deck of cards (expensive!)
- We need to pay our wonderful artist
- free shipping in US (prices seem to rise every few months!)
This is a lot of cards. For us to publish the game successfully at anything less than expensive we needed to search for the best possible solution. Kickstarter allows us to not only generate the funds needed to print overseas, it allows us to share our game with a wide audience of people just like us: players ready for something special.
We hope you'll see the potential, and get as excited as we are. We have plans to do many games using this system and the pages of lore we've created. This is the beginning. Help start it with us, because we cannot do it without you.

Risks and challenges
We spent the last eleven months fine-tuning a budget, exhausting our resources and getting the game ready for manufacturing.
We are using Panda Game Manufacturing to make sure the process goes smoothly, timely, and professionally. And we have even stretched our timeline to give us an extra two months "just in case"
That "just in case" could include bad weather during international shipping, (we're using professionals!) computers crashing (we back up!) and designer fatigue (we'll suck it up!)
Your funds along with our eleven months of planning will allow us to bring you this game in the most professional timely manner possible.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
