What we've been busy with....#2

27 Personen gefällt das

Hi all,

Let’s start first with some bad news. Unfortunately, due to several decisions that we made in terms of (small) design changes and other things like accepting requests to change the stem size the final product will be a bit delayed. The new expected shipment date is now mid of August.

When will my bike arrive?

This is hard to say, as we’ll use different shipping methods for US and EU. For US, it’ll take longer because we’ll ship by sea. It generally takes between 2 to 4 weeks after shipment. Several people wanted to pay extra for express shipping to US. Unfortunately, that is not possible. Also please note that there is additional cost: $200 extra + 11% duty cost. If we ship by sea the duty cost is paid by us.

For EU, we’ll ship it directly by air from the assemble factory in Taiwan. It generally takes 2-7 days for it to arrive, depending on the hold up in the customs.

Partial Refund

Starting mid of August we’ll start our partial refund. We’ll update you once we’re going to start and what information you need from us.

Pictures

The last update was in the frame factory. The frames are finished and now it’s time for the stems: Here are a few snaps:

Thank you!

The manufacturing pics of the stem look like they belong to the speedx mustang. They aren't shaped the same as the ones on the leopard. Why is that?

Any new updates? It's the middle of August and I have not seen my bike. Staring to feel bummed.

Kickstarter, is there an email you could post for private queries, so we don't have to post all our queries on this forum?

Since the delivery date has been pushed back, I need - or may need - to change my address from US to either Spain or UK. Can you repost the VAT information?

I think the delay is inevitable though. This is a new product and it takes time to get it right. Looking forward to getting the bike!!

Btw, Can I pay more to change the size of the handlebar to 44cm? If paying more for shipping is an option to Japan? Thanks.

@Ibrahim, if you study the "Leopard Pro config" on the campaign side you will find that it says 52/36 and 11/28. I don´t think the backers have been given an option to change that.

Could you confirm what the standard size for the Shimano Di2 groupset will be for the Speedx Leopard Pro. I do not recollect anywhere during the survey completion where the option to choose was given. My preferred sizing is 53/39 and 11/28.

Hi guys, EU and USA are covered, what about Australia ? Would love some feedback there !!!! I'm sure that a good percentage of your 1251 pledgers are from down under ! Look forward to your response.

Is there any communication to each backer before or after the shipping out?
Tracking number is really helpful even the sea freight, anyways.
      Cheers.

How about Asia countries other than China and Taiwan?

    22. Tony Richards am July 23

Thanks speedx for the update. It sucks that us backers won't see their bikes for another 6 to 8 weeks, however hopefully since you are shipping to the us by sea in containers you will take extra care in packaging to prevent damages. Once bikes are shipped will we receive a tracking number by email immediately after shipping or once it hits us shores? Also who are the bikes going to be delivered by, Ups,fedx, etc, etc?

    23. Michael am July 23

So I'm going to be charged even more now?

    24. Szilard Koos am July 23

I can only say that I am happy you do not have a longer delay as most projects here on Kickstarter. I experienced much much longer ones with products less "complicated" than yours! I am happy to be a backer of such a promising company. I really hope you reach your plans in your business. Keep it up!
