SpaceVenture is a sci-fi comedy adventure game that combines interplanetary exploration, puzzle-solving, and space travel- not to mention “pant loads” of pop culture satire and some good, clean “potty” humor.

When the spaceport “facilities” are backed up and stuff’s about to hit the fan...

When someone’s darling little spawn tries to flush their pet Narblitz down the john...

When your life support ducts are in need of , support...

It s time to call in a professional!

Who is that professional you might ask?

i love it too! it's certainly going into the right direction. and with Scott's writing, i'm sure it stays clean 'potty' humour which is great.

    2. Tim L on June 6, 2012

      LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love this set of characters! Rooter is so awesome and cute; I cant wait for him to roto root my clogged sink pipes.

I agree with Keyrock. Ace is even more awesome because he's chubby. Even Roger, while a fool, was still sexy, as Amanda said. Ace is charming in his chubby way, and is non-stereotypical.

    4. Jeff G. - Armikrog Army on June 5, 2012

This should really be on the front page of the kickstarter. This could talk some potential investors off the fence.

    5. Dreadcog on June 5, 2012

AWESOME! Great presentation Mark. I love the path of it all. The whole thing is really taking form.

    6. Joe Mastroianni on June 5, 2012

Oh my...imagine the opportunities for poop jokes...I'm shaking with excitement.

    7. Jason Clark on June 5, 2012

Will you remember us when your famo.... Re-Famous!

    8. Dreadcog on June 5, 2012

Well Mark I'm installing PowerPoint because I really want to see your presentation. :)

    9. Lady Samus on June 5, 2012

Haha! This is great. I'm looking forward to experiencing the crazy stuff only a space plumber could experience. If another Space Quest ever gets made, Roger and Ace could definitely meet up and trade some good stories. :P

      The slideshow is brilliant.

    11. Keyrock on June 5, 2012

I like Ace's look. I like the fact that he's kind of fat. It's refreshing to be able to play as something other than the stereotypical clean cut, muscular, white space marine (aka generic white male protagonist) or busty, scantily clad female (aka generic heroine).

    12. Mike Haley on June 5, 2012

I love the new character design! He is very much in the same vein as Roger Wilco, and his robot dog sidekick is adorable. I am looking forward to hearing who you cast as the voice of Ace Hardway.

    13. Amanda ☆ on June 5, 2012

Could Ace be a bit sexier, please? I always imagined Roger as sexy.

    14. Jamieson-Lee Scott on June 5, 2012

The font should be animated! Bright flashing colours for all!

    15. advmal on June 5, 2012

The white font on the bright background should be changed. Very difficult to read.

    16. Aubrey Alexander on June 5, 2012

Perhaps they can have a stretch goal for a second, playable female character.

    17. Nick DeSteffen on June 5, 2012

Really like that he has a sidekick

    18. Patrick on June 5, 2012

Loving the new characters, especially Cluck and Rooter! I would however like to see the final Ace more stylized (less detailed face/hair?). Sorta has the Max Payne syndrome of stretched foto face going on...

I guess the negative comments won out, and there is no female main character. That's too bad. I know plenty of adventures have had female mains, but the Two Guys really hadn't done one.

Awesome work guys... just what this kickstarter needed and it made me up my pledge to $125 wish I could afford more but at the moment its a stuggle to have that much to spare... Its more than I gave to Al & Jane and I gave them as much as I could at the time. I loved the Space Quest games and I really hope you can hit the target for this one. Best of luck. And I hope Ace can plunge to depths never before reached.

    21. Jason Clark on June 5, 2012

I agree... I had my reservations about saying goodbye to Roger... but Ace Hardway should be a fine replacement.

    22. Devon Rampe on June 5, 2012

Sweet!! Hey you should really update your main photo to include all three playable characters. It will draw more attention than the current photo. :)

    23. Kenny Chik on June 5, 2012

      ACE HARDWAY!!!!!

    24. Tom Hammerheart on June 5, 2012

Ace Hardway - Your shit is my business.

I was still hoping for a female lead, but I love the idea of ACE HARDWAY, PLUMBER TO THE STARS! It's a sh***y job, but SOMEONE has to do it.

    26. Floyd Turkowski on June 5, 2012

Roger only cleaned up the alien crap that missed the toilet. Ace goes all in!

Probably not Paul but I did ask in the chat.
