BE A VIKING! PLAY DRAKKAR!
In Drakkar - the card game, you are the leader of a mighty Viking clan. Your goal is to prove to the gods that you are the strongest Viking on the island over the course of three months of pillaging.
During each round (month) you will play cards (including some that you have stolen from your rivals!) to build your ship (the Drakkar), hire new warriors, store beer, and get ready for sailing and pillaging!
After three complete rounds, the player who collects the most victory points is the winner. You will have to find the right balance of offensive and defensive strategy to become the greatest of all Viking leaders!
Drakkar - the card game is a fast and fun game for 3 to 6 players, that plays in 20 minutes.

Drakkar - the card game is a fast and fun Viking game. Easy to learn and quick to play! The game is simple enough that even young gamers will enjoy it, but has enough strategy to engage grown-ups as well.
There is lots of exciting player interaction as you steal resources and cards, sabotage ships and mercilessly pick on your foes. You need to think about which card (and which side of that card) to play. Double-sided cards give you plenty of options!
The game comes with the "Village Cards" that will allow you to be in charge of a Viking village giving you a very special ability.
It comes with 7 cards with unique art.
In Drakkar - the card game, icons are used to make the game language neutral.

Risks and challenges
We successfully delivered our first KS project Brides & Bribes from which we have learned a lot of valuable lessons about production, logistics and shipping. Now, we are much more confident to create a second great game with your help!
The game has been going through playtesting for months now, and the vast majority of the art is complete.
Once the campaign ends, all we need to do is put the finishing touches on everything, and send it to the printer!
If an issue does occur, we promise we'll inform you and be transparent regarding how we are going to resolve it.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By pledging on this Kickstarter project, you acknowledge that the final appearance, materials and content of the rewards are subject to change and may differ from what is presented during the Kickstarter campaign.
You agree that our responsibility to you is to ship your reward as entered in the kickstarter pledges, that title and risk passes to you upon delivery to a common carrier for such shipment, and you are responsible for import duties or any other duties that may be payable to the relevant tax authorities, providing correct address information and ensuring this address is deliverable by normal methods. We regret we are unable to ship to PO Boxes.
