If you like, yes! But keep in mind that it'll be a BIG DOWNLOAD.
It's all about the file size: at 33.8 MB per mono minute, a single 15-30 minute long 4-channel recording at 192 kHz will be 2-4 GB! Delivering a similar file at 96 kHz will bring the file size down to 1-2 GB. Still huge, but across 72 soundscapes a SIGNIFICANT savings.
That said, all tracks will be originally mastered at 192 kHz. From there I'll assess whether or not 192 kHz is necessary for delivery.
Any tracks with recorded material above 96 kHz will be deemed "necessary" and delivered at 192 kHz.
Tracks in which the only content above 96 kHz is microphone and/ or recorder self-noise will be delivered at 96 kHz.
I'm more than happy to provide all-192 kHz downloads to any backers who have selected 96 kHz as their preferred delivery. That way you can choose to make your own assessment to keep the 192 kHz or 96 kHz versions. I did not want to promise 192 kHz recordings while occasionally delivering 96 kHz versions because of the upset that would cause. Promising 96 kHz while occasionally delivering 192 kHz seemed like a bonus!
