About this project
WHAT THIS IS ALL ABOUT:
Soulfinger is the music production team behind Life, Love & Passion - a heartfelt artistic statement paying tribute to the great songwriters of the classic “Motown” era. The idea was to highlight and re-record B-sides of lesser known soul music gems from the late 60ties up to mid of 70ties, inviting a variety of amazing artists to perform on one song each.

We want to put this labor-of-love out into the world in a very different manner than how it's usually done. We have come up with (we hope) absolutely extraordinary luxury packaging for this super-limited, hand-numbered collector's item. This will not be released in digital form, no iTunes, no Amazon, no Spotify.
Every unit will be uniquely identified by its serial number.
NOTE: The serial on the prototype used in our photoshoot uses the name of our company ("Soulfood Music Group"), on the final product we will change this to:
Soulfinger - Life, Love & Passion -- Nº: 000X
Packaging design by: USSO.BE

Jonathan Maron - bass [Groove Collective/Maxwell/India.Arie]
Selan Lerner - keys [Nile Rogers/DJ Spinna/Kanye West]

Jacques Schwartz-Bart - sax [D'Angelo/MeShell Ndegeocello/Roy Hargrove]
Risks and challenges
There are no risks on the creative side. We took three years (great things take time!) to record, mix, master and develop the packaging concept. Everything can be viewed and listened to here or on our website:
The one thing that is out of our control is the delivery time for packaging. Being so unique and involving hand-labor, we expect to ship out within three full months of the end date of this campaign.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
