Sorrow ‘the Movie is eloquently conceived as a tribute to the 1970s horror genre. Based on a bone-chilling true story and shot with a realistic cinematic style and special effects, it is easy to forget that it is only a movie. More than just a horror film, Sorrow interweaves themes of revenge and criminal insanity, bringing world-class drama to the genre. It is this dedication to realism and to the artistry that characterized the horror genre in the past that makes Sorrow a film that is not to be forgotten.

Risks and challenges
Making a movie is a life changing event, driven by passion and inspiration to create this story, to share this emotion with the world. It burns within you like a fire. It continues to burn stronger and hotter until you get it out of your head and on to the screen. It comes in and takes over. Everything else in your life kinda falls by the wayside. It becomes a mission, a battle, a fight for your life even. ...and it goes on, and on and your are bombarded by the highest of high's and the lowest of lows all at once.
You struggle just trying to keep your head above the water...breathe, breathe just breathe. The only way you won't make it is if you quit, but this isn't a race it is a marathon. It requires learning to keep a steady pace and knowing when to run as hard and as fast as you can and when you need to slow down to a steady pace, even though slower, still moving forward.
Most times it is a thankless job, you work countless hours alone into the night, you adjust and readjust every detail trying to get everything just right. You sacrifice, everything you have and all your resources are focused on the mission.
But the thing to remember and that sometimes you can't see, is that there is an end to the madness. One day in a darkened theater, people will sit down to watch your movie. That first moment of inspiration , that spark of passion that has driven you through all this madness unfolds before their eyes. They sit and they watch the last 2 to 3 years of your life come alive on screen. If you did your job right, at the end they will be moved and they will clap and suddenly it is all worth it. The pain and the bad memories begin to fade and there is a kind of peace and a feeling of accomplishment.
You made it, you beat the shit of the bastard and won. You are still standing!
So then what...
Inspiration strikes, passion takes a hold of you and you do it all over again.
