About

The SOOT Kickstand for the Kindle Fire is a modular 'acoustic' kickstand that channels sound forward toward the user.

There's a colorful acoustic (non-electric) chamber that pops on to the end of the Fire, propping the device up with the help of a removable credit card-sized stand that inserts into a slot at the rear of the chamber.

The Kickstand can be used in 3 distinct orientations while still allowing full access to the power button, charging port and headphone jack.

Portrait for reading a book...

...Landscape for watching a movie or playing games...

...and a low, tilted angle for browsing the web and typing emails.

The SOOT Kickstand plays well with elastic-cornered book-flap cases (similar to what's shown below) so there's no need to remove the chamber when you're on the go.

Simply remove the card and tuck it in the groove between the chamber and the Fire.

Oh, and by the way... it works great as a cradle for the iPhone 4s! The angle is perfect for watching movies and FaceTime -- and you can even charge the device while it's in the dock. The fit is loose, which makes it extremely easy to remove from the cradle.
