Thanks And Week 2 Wrap Up
This update will get right to the point. Lots of folks have been asking questions about the status of the Adventure Game and today we want to show you some footage of where we are on the programming side. We’ve shown you all some great concept art and today you’ll see some of the in-engine render tests. (watch the whole video below to see the in-engine walkthrough)
Soma games has made artistic beauty a core value since day one and the Redwall story only makes that more important. So pushing our game engine as far as possible with things like lighting, dynamic shadows and environmental effects is a very important consideration.
What you’ll see in this video is a render and lighting test, a brief exploration of the cloister section of Redwall Abbey. This isn’t final art but it does start to show some of the things you can expect in the final game. With that, I’ll let the video do the talking.
