Relic Knights features stunning resin miniatures that bring your battles to life. Our goal is to create beautiful pieces that are both a joy to paint and make your battlefields look amazing! Our teams of artists, sculptors, and manufacturing partners take extraordinary care to make sure each unit maintains its unique character and detail throughout the entire design and production process.
Below is just a small sampling of the miniatures available through this Kickstarter to build your cadre.
Relic Knights is a quick and dynamic tabletop strategy battle game that uses finely detailed 30mm scale miniatures to represent your heroes and villains on the battlefield. Relic Knights uses a card-based system to represent esper—the energy which binds the universe. Players draw and use this esper to unleash devastating attacks and cunning counters upon their foes.
In Relic Knights, players form a force of miniatures called a cadre to an agreed upon points value. Each player chooses their cadre from a single faction, tailoring it to their own unique play style and miniatures they love.
A Relic Knights cadre is built around either a Relic Knight or a Questing Knight. Potent warriors and wielders of esper, they are your cadre's leader and determine what other models can be recruited.
Each knight is bonded to a cypher. Born of pure esper, each cypher has chosen a knight that reflects their own motivations and desires; granting them powers beyond the mortal ken. The knight and their cypher are joined in battle by select individuals who have rallied to their cause and will form their cadre.
Each unit in your cadre is represented by a single card. The front of the card shows the unit's attributes such as their movement, ranged attribute, melee attribute, psychic attribute, armor, and health.
On the back of each unit's cards are the abilities they can potentially use during their turn. Each ability has an icon which represents the ability's type, and an esper cost which must be paid to trigger the ability. The back of the card also shows the unit's traits, passive abilities, and other details relevant to the unit's performance on the battle field.
Relic Knights uses an entirely card-based game mechanic. You must carefully manage your hand of esper, and your esper deck, in order to successfully trigger your attacks and defenses.

This campaign only scratches the surface of what we have prepared for the future of Relic Knights! Beyond a small number of units we may preview during the campaign, Void Break includes an additional three units for every faction which will NOT be a part of this Kickstarter. This will provide us with months of new releases that were not part of this Kickstarter, ensuring that you will have many exciting new units to look forward to after receiving your rewards.
After Void Break, our third book Ascension is already in progress. Ascension will include an exciting new unit type—Avatars—which can lead your cadres in battle.

The plastic miniatures are available in limited quantities only and at 50% off MSRP or more! Once they are sold out they will receive a future resculpt in resin. (If you would like to read more about Relic Knights transition to resin miniatures you can read our article here.) This Kickstarter is your best opportunity to get your hands on these classic Relic Knights miniatures before they are gone forever!
With a strong ranged attack game that benefits from creating synergy between multiple units, Black Diamond’s offensive powers can erase any opposition. If you enjoy shooting down your foes while creating crossfires, or benefiting from lots of units, the largest mercenary outfit in the last galaxy is for you.

Doctrine is the faction based on gathering knowledge and doing research. They have been working to master manipulating Esper for a very long time. This manifests in game with their ability to manipulate their own and their opponent’s Esper deck. Controlling what will be drawn next, and triggering effects based on revealing cards from their hand are tools in the Doctrine's bag of tricks.
The Noh Empire is the destructive force of Entropy embodied. Charge into battle and use the Noh’s famous blood lust to destroy your enemy up close and personal. By dealing damage the Noh Empire unleashes the power of entropic esper to charge themselves up to new heights of savagery. The Noh are an elite force that is larger and sturdier than humans and many other races of the Last Galaxy.
The Shattered Sword paladins believe that the best offense is a good defense. Strategies of combined arms and powering up through taking damage makes them the opposite side of the coin to the super aggressive Noh Empire. Pledge your sword to the defense of the Last Galaxy with the Shattered Sword paladins.

The Star Nebula Corsairs strike from the deep of space to exploit the chaos that the calamity has sown throughout the last galaxy. Build your own pirate crew and set course for victory! Not only can you include Radiant units in your Cerci Speed Circuit, Shattered Sword Paladins, or Doctrine lists, you can also play cadres led by a Radiant knight! This allows you to use the Radiant knights and units together with heroes from any of the three factions, providing you with many different playstyle combinations. Additionally, you gain access to the Radiant abilities around held esper manipulation, and upping the amount of held esper generated by all your units!
Void can be included in your Black Diamond, Noh Empire, and Star Nebula Corsairs cadres. You can also build a cadre led by a Void knight. This allows you to use the Void knights and units together with heroes from any of the three factions, providing you with many different playstyle combinations. Many Void units hail from the sinister maleaach race and this is a good way to field a cadre themed around them. Additionally, you gain access to the Void abilities around esper droughts and forcing your opponent to lose held esper.
Once Relic Knights has funded we have an opportunity to unlock even more great content through stretch goals. As our funding total increases, stretch goals will unlock and become available. There are three types of stretch goals in this campaign:
- FREE stretch goals are included free to both the Questing Knight and Relic Knight pledges.
- ADD-ONS are new units that you may increase your pledge total if you wish to receive the unit.
- ADD-ON UPGRADES are free upgrades to an add-on unit. Typically, add-on upgrades are alternate model pieces which allows you to create a variant pose that adds a new ability to the unit.
Pinup models are alternative sculpts that are an exclusive reward for backers who pledge directly through Kickstarter during the fifteen days of the campaign. Pinup models will NOT be available via late pledges or the Void Pledge. Pinup models have identical game profiles to their standard versions.
Darkspace models are new sculpts of existing units in unique 'cosplay' outfits. These models work for different factions than their non-Darkspace counterparts, and feature both new models and new game profiles fitting their costume change. Darkspace models will be available through the Kickstarter, pledge manager (including late backers), conventions, and special web promotions.
Shipping will be charged after the campaign through our store-based pledge manager, based on the actual cost to ship your pledge and any additional rewards you select.
To help minimize your shipping and customs costs, we will ship rewards to multiple international shipping hubs at our cost (US, EU, CN, and AU). These hubs ship all rewards to backers in their region. Depending on your region, this will help reduce or eliminate any additional import duties you will be required to pay.
Our current estimate for shipping costs are listed below.
- Africa: $50 - $60 to most countries
- Asia: $15 to China and Hong Kong, $30 - $40 to most other countries.
- Canada: $15 - $30 to most cities.
- Europe: $15 - $20 to Western Europe. $20 - $30 to Northern Europe. $30 - $40 to Eastern and Southern Europe.
