Thank you for stopping by our kickstarter campaign! We are SoCo Dance Theater, and we are a a unique mix of Sonoma County choreographers who wish to explore and share within our community the power and passion of dance.
We bring together artists from all over the community of a variety of age ranges, experiences, and perspectives, to work together, collaborate, and learn from one another.
Our work together culminates into our annual Fall Concert where we give artists the opportunity the showcase their work in a large-scale, professional setting. We have been thrilled that our work has been growing and striving, but we cannot continue this growth without your support.
This concert will feature 6 choreographers from SoCo Dance Theater: Kristen Daley, Nicole Imholz (with Kelly McKee), Virginia Matthews, Gloria E. Rubio-Verduzco, Beth McEnery, Mercy Sidbury, and guest choregrapher Bernadette Alverio-Gray, with performers from all over Sonoma County.
Below you will see the expenses that we are challenged with in putting on this event. We appreciate you taking a moment to consider supporting this concert.

· Venue: $5000
· Postcards/Posters: $150

Risks and challenges
The largest challenge we face is putting on a performance of this scale as a non-profit entity. We are still fairly newly established in the community, therefore, experiencing the growing pains of our growing support, while attempting to build a following.
Our next challenge has been, and will be, working as a cooperative, yet containing our own unique voice and artistic vision. This includes competing with our own other personal obligations and responsibilities. Some of us are educators, professionals, business owners, etc., and lead very full lives. It has a rewarding challenge finding ways of working together in partnership, and contributing to our greatest skills and assets.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
