You've told us and we've heard you loud and clear! Our new Snappy trailer will move back to downtown Hopkinton where it all began. Our custom-built trailer will have all the charm of the original AND will be light enough to travel to any event, be it a soccer tournament, your graduation and birthday parties, or even your backyard wedding. As grateful as we are to have a home at beautiful Weston Nurseries, we also understand that it isn't always convenient for you to get there. A second Snappy Dogs trailer keeps us in the heart of town, close to baseball and soccer fields, schools, and businesses. The money we hope to raise will cover everything from the $400 condiment containers to the $7000 it takes for materials and construction, plus everything in between- permits, licenses, menu boards, grills and coolers.
STRETCH GOAL #1
Let the Sun Shine - $2000
For an additional $2000, we can solarize Snappy 2 to give us freedom day and night. In addition to powering our water pump, with a decent size solar system, we can light up the party with festive lighting, and keep the party going with music. We may even add a solar fridge to help keep us chilled.
Risks and challenges
Crosspoint Associates, the company that manages the CVS and Marty's Liquors property, has given our project the green light to move forward, by giving us permission to move our second Snappy trailer to their parking lot in April 2018. The money we raise through Kickstarter will go towards the building process, the required permits, and the interior design. We're hoping to find cabinetry and accessories for this project, (Snappy 2), that are similar to the ones we have at our original trailer. Customers know and love our vintage, kitschy aesthetic which we feel sets us apart from other food trucks.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
