Carr Fire Relief Efforts (Canceled)
With the Carr Fire gaining ground in California, I feel that some relief efforts are in order.
What is the end goal of this Kickstarter?
This Kickstarter has a goal to provide relief for victims of the deadly CA Carr Fire. The $1500 funding goal is in place as is so that this Kickstarter can be easily funded, but in all reality the end goal is much greater. The more funds we build, the more goes towards the fire victims. On that note: the more shirts sold, the lower their production cost is. That means more of your funds go towards relief efforts. Please share this project with friends and family.
Where will the funds go?
After shirt production costs and fees (approx 15-18%), all proceeds will go directly to the Shasta Regional Community Disaster Relief Fund. For more information, visit: http://www.shastarcf.org/funds/cdrf
Once the Kickstarter is complete, I will donate a portion from my personal account within the first few days of completion. The funds will be donated as soon as the funds are transferred from Kickstarter to my account. This will happen faster if backers' card information is processed. Keep an eye on your email just in case there is an issue with your payment.
The Shirt and the Meaning Behind It
This t-shirt design portrays the terrible destruction that the California fires cause. The dragon is the monster that firefighters have to battle as it continually spreads its flames across the land. The star on the map of California shows were the Carr Fire leaves its mark.
Latest Information on the Carr Fire

Thank you so much for taking part in this fundraiser. As the fire progresses, we can do our best to help those in need. Please share with friends and family. If you know of any volunteer work or other fundraisers, please share with me via message and I will post link on this page.
Risks and challenges
After the Kickstarter has been completed, it is common for some backers' credit card information to be declined. This can cause a slight delay in donations. If backers' cards are declined, It would be best to not have such delays so we can get the funds out as soon as possible!
Depending on the amount of declined cards, I will donate a portion of the funds from my personal account within the first few days of the Kickstarter's completion. If the donations far exceed the funding goal, I will be able to donate up to the goal amount only until fund are transferred to my account. Updates to follow.
