What haunts our hearts today may haunt us in the hereafter . . .
In future-Edo Japan, two lovers cross paths after fifty years apart. A drone-stream influencer is stalked by a spectre her online audience can't see. Trans vampires' lives intertwine in cyber-goth Paris. A non-binary chaplain serving a haunted space station becomes enamoured with the ship's AI. And the treachery and passion of a gestalt alien mind reaches critical mass for the explorer who discovered it.
With stories spanning time, galaxies, and spirits, Gothic Tales of Haunted Futures features 18 original stories, casting the indelible themes of gothic romance forward in time, to imagined futures and tomorrow’s afterlives.
Following in the footsteps of Bedside Press’s first volume, Gothic Tales of Haunted Love, named one of Kirkus Reviews’ Best Books of 2018, comes this much anticipated follow-up anthology, featuring all original comics, and curated by award-winning author and editor S.M. Beiko, published once again by Bedside Press.
With a Foreword by Harrow County's Tyler Crook.

We will also have the book available in eBook format for use on your reading and mobile devices (EPUB, MOBI and PDF.)

Along with a PDF ready to read on your tablet or laptop, all funders above $5 will also receive a comiXology download code to read the book on their app.
With this much talent involved, we have a lot more to offer in addition to the book itself!
Prints - In the form of postcards, mini-prints, bookplates & original digital commissions, along with original art when available, of all original pin up artwork created specifically for this campaign, including the book's cover by Sweeney Boo. More art to come!
Commissions - some of our creators have generously donated commission slots for the campaign. But hurry; they're limited!
Gothic Tales of Haunted Love (2018) - Reprint - we are bringing back the anthology that started it all, still full colour and trade paperback, but in a 6x9 format with a brand new cover by Razzah.
Risks and challenges
The risks and challenges with this project are the same with all publishing projects that Bedside Press has put out through a fulfillment model: funding completion for the core product, dealing with setbacks at the printer, product loss during shipping, and so on. Luckily these are all issues that Bedside Press has experience with mitigating and foreseeing, in addition to S.M. Beiko’s ten years of trade publishing experience on the table for troubleshooting and managing.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
