Hi, I'm Dave Kellett, and I'm making a hardcover collection of comics called ANATOMY OF ANIMALS! It's a series of goofy animal comics that have been running on my webcomic SHELDON. And now it's time to collect them into a super cool hardcover!
"Anatomy of Animals" is a hilarious take on High School biology charts...but instead of pointing out where the "thorax" is, we're gonna learn truly important things like: Do turtles stay in shape? How do crabs do on Tinder? And hey...is that Platypus down to watch some Gilmore Girls with you? (Answer: They are super down.)
- 104-PAGE HARDCOVER BOOK
- PRINTED IN FULL COLOR
- DIMENSIONS: 10 3/4” x 8 1/4” (273mm x 209mm)
- WRAPPED IN A FANCY-SHMANCY CLOTH SPINE
- INTERIOR LAYOUT WILL LOOK LIKE A 1910/20'S BOOK
- YOU GUYS...IT'S GONNA LOOK SO NEAT
Want to back the book? Here's a quick guide to rewards! And to help, the highlighted item on each level indicates the additional reward from the previous level!
In addition to the book, higher reward tiers will also be receiving awesome items such as...
Planning on backing at THE FULL TARZAN level, and have your eye on a specific "Anatomy of Animals" strip? Check the availability on this chart. It'll be first-come-gets-first-pick, based on when you pledge the Kickstarter!

We're hoping to ship your book out by the first week in December, using USPS. And, because we'll be shipping direct from the studio, each package will be getting a little smooch on its way out the door. EXTRA SMOOCHES FOR YOU, BASICALLY.
(International Friends! We're charging *exactly what it costs us* to ship. So if you live in London or Sydney or Berlin, the shipping, alas, is what it is. But to help, we made a handy-dandy international shipping chart, which may help you decide on the biggest "bang for your buck" on shipping costs.)

Risks and challenges
I've run three successful Kickstarters in the past, all of which delivered fun projects to backers.
Since this is is my 4th Kickstarter, and my 14th book overall, I'm feeling confident about this project. But I do know that *unexpected hiccups* can pop up along the way, in production and in fulfillment. Should any problems or delays arise with the Anatomy of Animals book, backers can expect to be kept well-informed with regular updates until the problem is fixed.
THE BOOK ITSELF is being produced at one of the best book printers in the world, so the quality should be really nice. And because I want this book to be perfect, I'm going to be watchin' production like a hawk: A nervous, nervous, anxiety-prone hawk.
ADDITIONAL BACKER REWARDS are all being produced by vendors I’ve worked with before, and I’ve been very happy with the quality of their work.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
