Hello friends, This is Chef Tony. I am a disabled Marine Corps Veteran looking to open my very own barbecue restaurant hear in Griffin Georgia. Griffin is a city in the rebuilding stages and I want to be a part of it . I have been in the professional food service business for over 20 years the last eight years as a kitchen manager / head chef / Pitmaster and I love this, this is my passion. The facility will be centrally located and it's close to popular shopping areas, residential neighborhoods, and the Griffin Police Department. We will offer a unique taste and excellent service with a down-home feel that's missing from today's restaurants.
- Our restaurant will offer delicious pork spare ribs and spare rib tips, beef brisket, smoked chicken, smoked sausage and with the choice of three different signature barbecue sauces made only here at our restaurant, and mouthwatering sides.
Risks and challenges
As in any new business there are elements of risk. The common risk are the arrival of a new barbecue business in a small town with a tight-knit community, and also not having the Financial Muscle 2 sustain the kind of publicity we want to give our business. Our Focus remains on our strengths and will assess any shortfalls will be used as an opportunity to learn and move forward. We will move forward at all cost.
