What are Precision Polyhedral Dice?
Precision Polyhedral Dice are dice that are CNC machined from solid metal alloys. The precision of these dice comes from being CNC machined one by one. This process is far superior to molded plastic or molded metal dice and they look amazing as well.
How to Add-on Additional Dice
I get asked a lot about how you can order more than one set of dice or more than one dice vault. Kickstarter only allows you to select one reward but you can increase your pledge amount to include an extra award, or two, or three, or ect. Then after the project is over you can select what you ordered through the Backerkit system.
Please note that Early Bird Levels can not be an Add-On.
When you are pledging and choosing your reward please choose the highest reward level 1st then increase your pledge by the amount of the lower pledge level(s) that you want to add-on.
International backers because these dice and vaults are basically heavy chunks of metal so an extra $5 international shipping charges will be applied in Backerkit for every add-on you order.
You can add these additional funds through Kickstarter or you can add additional funds to your order through Backerkit to pre-order more dice or vaults than what is offered in just one selected reward level.
Quality of Precision Machined Dice
These dice are machined using CNC (Computer Numerical Controlled) milling machines. They are precise to within 0.001" or one thousandth of an inch! To put that into perspective a regular piece of copy paper is 0.004" thick! The materials chosen are also more evenly balanced than plastic molding processes. Other metal dice on the market are rounded by hand, polished, or sandblasted, Those processes cause the dice to become unbalance. These precision dice are made from 100% metal alloy stock and are machined perfect the 1st time.
For your comfort, and better rolling action, these dice will have Rounded Corners but these Corners are Precision rounded with CNC

What Colors of Anodized Aluminum and Material will be Available?
The above photo is from my 1st Dice Project. The green shown is more of a mint green but this project will be more of a Forest Green.
Metal Dice Vaults
These Metal Dice Vaults are only going to be available in Anodized Aluminum and Brass. Sorry but no Copper or Stainless Steel. They are both very difficult to machine such a deep pocket. Copper gums up and breaks tools and Stainless Steel takes 5x longer to machine. So these problems caused the price to sky rocket so I decided to not even offer them.
They may be listed as a 7 and 10 dice vault but you can usually fit one or two more dice in each. I listed them as 7 and 10 because if you placed each Polyhedral dice into these vaults corner to corner length wise then they will still fit 7-10. If you get creative and play tetris with the dice you can squeeze one to two more beyond the 7 or 10 dice sets.
Why did I take this Project to Kickstarter?
Precision Machined Dice are made one at a time on CNC Mills. This takes a lot of time, more time than I could ever put in on a Hobby Mill. So I need your help to launch these into mass production by commissioning a machine shop to produce these in bulk. The Machine Shop that I want to work with has dozens of CNC machines to accomplish this task. Your pledges will go toward purchasing the Metal Alloys and to commission a machine shop to produce these in bulk. Your reward will be a set(s) of these beautiful one of a kind METAL Dice and/or Metal Dice Vault!
Risks and challenges
This will be my 3rd Kickstarter Project. I know to expect the unexpected and how to set realistic/conservative timelines.
Depending on the number of dice that are ordered will vastly determine the time to produce all of the dice as well as ship all of them to the backers.
I plan on being as transparent as possible and provide regular updates because I know how it feels to not get a response to a burning question.
With my background in Product Development and being a Mechanical Engineer I know how to meet deadlines and expectations. But if something were to arise that is going to delay production or delivery I have been in that boat before and know how to push Manufacturers into pushing my item to the top of the list of priorities.
