Upgraded website, and teaser for Dev Diary #2.
Hello again backers.
We’re still here, sorry for the radio silence but you won’t have to wait much longer before we show off what we've been working on, for now though it’s all logistics.
Giles has been working on upgrading the SlipSpace website, as well as making it look cleaner he’s been implementing a database designed to house all of you as well as new customers! Everything is in place so that we can store all of your necessary details on our own servers. Surveys will be going out soon to all the different backers to gather these details, your pledge amounts and selected rewards will be included and transitioned, and for those of you who have more unique rewards, don’t worry, we’re keeping track of everything.
When the game is in your hands, you’ll use your details stored with us to login to the game, after this you can play the game offline on the same computer if you like. These accounts will also be able to hold and save your game data. Meaning you can take your account with you and play with your own ships and weapons on someone else’s device.
Now that the pre-order system is up and running we are accepting new orders for SlipSpace. So if you think someone would enjoy a little SlipSpace, let them know the good news! To those of you that may want to upgrade your game from release to beta or from beta to special edition, you’ll have to wait a little longer, but this will eventually be possible when we get account management up and running, where you will be able to adjust things like account email, passwords, etc.
That’s it for now, soon enough we’ll send out our ‘big’ update, showcasing SlipSpace in it’s latest glory, as a teaser here’s a small part of our very basic planning, you should be able to spot a few exciting upcoming items.
