Hi all!

What an exciting day here! After a lot of hard work, we are very proud to announce Learn Japanese To Survive! Katakana War has officially released!

Now that the game is available on Steam, here's how you can claim your backer rewards (including Steam keys!)

We've made everything available for download through BackerKit – the same place you filled in your surveys.

You should receive an email from BackerKit letting you know your rewards are now available for download!

If you don't get the email in the next few hours, jump over to our BackerKit link at: https://learn-japanese-to-survive-katakana-war.backerkit.com/ and login with your Kickstarter email address.

You should see a link to download your rewards, and all your purchased rewards will be visible for download. Yay!

Once you've accessed your Steam key, you can then claim your copy of the game through the Steam client.

For backers who have ordered physical rewards: These have been shipped in the last 2 weeks and should reach you shortly.

We want to thank you all for supporting this game for so long. It's been a labor of love and we are very pleased with the end result.

We hope that you will have many enjoyable adventures as you learn the Japanese language!

      @Sleepy Duck
Thanks for the quick reply. I actually found the mail in question, it was indeed the mail filter.
Fittingly enough the provided password didn't work, so I changed it and now can't log in with the new one due to too many failed login attempts. I'll try again in 24 hours. ;D

@Jan Martin: I've just double-checked and confirmed you were sent the digital download option via email on January 30th. Basically, all you need to do is go to our website at www.study-japanese.net and login using your Kickstarter email address and the password sent to you. You can choose "Forgot My Password" if you can't find the email. Then you'll be able to select "Downloads" from the left side menu to access your files :)

Some digital download backers were sent Steam keys in addition to their digital download files in error. I believe we've revoked them all by this point.

So, I know I'm way late here, but I got a question.
As I've mentioned a few months ago, I selected Digital Downloads for both Hiragana battle and Katakana Wars (12$ pledge). But what I got was a Steam Key. I was told that I might have gotten that accidentially, and didn't bother with it at the time.
Now I just checked, and the Survey definitely lists "DRM-free direct download", but on the download page I only get shown two Steam Keys. So, what am I doing wrong? I have to admit I'm a bit out of this after the time but I'm reasonably certain I shouldn't be getting both, and when there's only one way to get it this is the wrong one. Did the Download option just get canceled and I missed the update?
I don't even have much of a problem with having the product on Steam, it's just weird because I chose differently. I haven't claimed the keys yet, just in case.
      Any idea what's going on?

@James Witten be sure you are choosing the add game option from steam not "funds key" as they got keys for different things:)

I'm hoping to try the game this weekend only read a few pages of the Manga and think it is great.

@James Witten: I've queried your Steam keys and they're both valid and not yet claimed. Just login to your Steam client and click Games from the top, then Activate a Product on Steam. Make sure you copy-paste the keys exactly as they appear :)

Was very excited to start playing but my steam key isn't working. Is there anything I can do about this?

Played an hour or so last night. It's definitely fun and helping me learn!

@Pierre: Sadly we can't track the items during shipping. If you're outside of the USA, delivery might take a little longer.
