SLC POP was created to amuse the palates of greater Salt Lake City one pop up dining occasion at a time. The course of our culinary adventures recently brought us upon a gallery for rent. We realized we could turn it into a one-of-a-kind interactive community space that will host all genres of events, including our own! And so, Nata Gallery was born. Now we need a bit of help to keep this "Not a" Gallery community project alive.
Nata Gallery is a community inspired space. We want to support artists, chefs, teachers, and entrepreneurs from the Salt Lake City area by giving them a space to create. The "workshop" will also host SLC POP dinners with the mission of providing a revolutionary style of dining to the downtown area.
We are taking an empty gallery space with a tiny bathroom and transforming it to fit the artistic needs of Salt Lake City patrons. We need your support to help purchase: a water heater, tables, chairs, flatware, prep tables, linens, sinks and bathroom renovations. (What a list, huh?!)
With your support this can become a vessel to explore the infinite possibilities of Salt Lake City food and art.

Risks and challenges
Due to the intense competition of other gallery spaces, restaurants and yoga studios, Nata Gallery must look for ways to differentiate its place of business in order to maintain a competitive advantage. Our model for Nata Gallery will be to provide a refreshingly unique and imaginative look, feel, and experience to the downtown area. One that is sophisticated and entertaining yet playful and creative. Since we are working with a "shell" of a space, we are facing high overhead startup costs with lower ongoing costs.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
