Capitalism Works for Me! True/False is front page news in Grand Rapids, MI today. It made it to the juror's short list and is in the top 25 of the popular vote at ArtPrize.

I have mixed feelings about it. I'm sorting through them. Will let you know how this develops...

At Labour Party Conference in Mancester, UK - and update on prints

Upper Space got a flatbed and took Capitalism Works For Me! to the Labour Party Conference in Manchester, UK. Watch the results in the video above.

Print update

I have all the prints and the shipping materials in the studio. Next steps are signing, packing, and shipping them - and there are hundreds. Luckily, I've got some help coming in for this and we'll be getting everything out soon!

These pictures are real.

The prints are bring printed!

These photos came from Electric Works in San Francisco today. I've seen the proofs and they look great! You've all been so patient and I'm glad to say we're one step closer to getting them into your homes.

Those of you who selected the Times Square photos already received yours, but this photo is the one taken on the streets of Cleveland, Ohio.

You may wonder what the delay was. Well, there were many and they were all small. The printshop wanted to take some of the blame, but ultimately it comes down to me being an individual person instead of 7 or 8 people able to tour and exhibit two Capitalism signs, make, pack, and ship the rewards, communicate with the other people and business involved, make new work, and keep all the other various projects in my life moving. You've all been very patient, and while it might seem slow, but it's not because I forgot about all you while napping in a hammock. I work on this project every week. So thanks for hanging in there. I'm really looking forward to getting these in my hands and back out in the mail to you.

Update if you aren't reading my emails

You know I send emails to you every month or two right? You can make sure you're signed up here. Anyway here's a small update:

1. The US version of the sign is showing in Grand Rapids, Michigan during the Art Prize. It's up now at the Kendall College of Art and Design
2. The EU version is going to be in Manchester, on the back of a truck (they're working on it) and driven around during their elections! Thanks to a street art organization called The Upper Space.
3. The sign was in a book on typography and art called Bright!

Ok, more soon, via some digital avenue or another.
