      Hi Wayne

We produced a couple of prototype clear 'top lids' for the first prototype CRAFTsynth 2.0's but we all feel the zip case is a much better solution.

wow that's brilliant..i wasn't expecting a proper zip case I just thought it was a plastic lid like you get with skulpt.

do we get the plastic hard shell top as well as the zip case?in some pics ive seen it shows the craftsynth 2 with the plastic shell on top and sometimes the craftsynth is sat in it so the controls arnt angeled.

To be honest, I wish other crowdfunded projects were this candid.
One one my reactions would have been “hey, I don’t even care about the case”. But you do, and we all respect that.
It’s only been a few months since the campaign and you’ve been quite forthcoming in your updates. Sure, we’d like to play with our synths *now*. But we can wait a few weeks.
Next step: feature wishlist for the next Modal synth. Take my money now, and make this work.

No problem, guys. I'm more than happy to wait a while longer for a better end product. The updates have been timely and informative. Fully confident that the Craft 2.0 will be well worth the wait.

Well, things like this happen. It is what it is. Only sadness is I’m not personally bothered about the cover, would have preferred to just have the synth or a hard lid instead.

This is good. Communication is Golden...Silence is not. :)
Thank you. Still can't wait. :)

No worries, thanks for keeping us updated. Funding a Kickstarter project isn't ordering from Amazon; creating something good from scratch takes time, and can be a bumpy road. I'm sure it will be worth the wait. Meanwhile, I'm still enjoying and exploring my Skulpt!

      HI Wayne,

Thanks for your understanding. The carry case is a zip case. We are expecting the newest sample over from China in a few days and we'll get some photos online for you to see when it arrives.

thanks for keeping me updated and id rather you delay than send out products that you and the customer wouldn't be happy with.

the new case is looking much much better ..in your description you say theres a zip..is it a zip case or a plastic cover like you get with the skulpt?

      have a great weekend
