Thomann’s Synth Reactor + More Patch Demos

This past week a few members of the Modal team attended the Thomann’s Synth Reactor event in Treppendorf, Germany.

Synth Reactor was a unique event that brought together synthesiser manufacturers and music tech YouTubers for an opportunity to create some exciting new video content, and we took along CRAFTsynth 2.0 (and SKULPTsynthesiser) to give the YouTubers a chance to get to know these products.

Here is the first of a few videos we expect to come out of the event - an interview with The Tuesday Night Machines where we discuss and demonstrate both CRAFTsynth 2.0 and SKULPTsynthesiser:

We were really overwhelmed at the responses we got from the event, and it was a fantastic week meeting other manufacturers, synth heads and so many of the brilliant YouTubers making this industry what it is today.

Back here in the UK, we’re still hard at work creating the CRAFTsynth 2.0 factory patch banks for you all. We’ll soon be releasing a set of videos demoing some of these patches - here is a sneak peak of what to expect:

That’s all for now - more updates coming soon.

Don’t know if Eleni’s question has been answered in private but, it sounds to me, the micro-USB port can easily be used with a power adapter (such as one for a phone or tablet). A battery pack would also work.
(The same is true of many devices including the UNO synth and the Raspberry Pi computer.)

This has the ability to be plugged into a regular wall socket right ? When I watched it turn just now my breathing momentarily stopped. . .l saw line in,line out, 2 midi spots and a computer/USB cable port . However, I either missed it or a plug-in 9V or 12V power supply does not exist for this product. As a backer, I should have inquired about this first as I do not have a well working computer. I use an Android Tablet which is fine for what I require. . .or was. Please let me know. The synth 2.0 is sounding very strong. Ever thought of offering a few different colours rather than the plain white? xxochimil111@gmail.com

Wow! The intro of that short demo is remarkable. This is an industry redefining synth. You guys are just launching the 2020s.
