About

In 2017, thanks to your support, we created Ogrezine, a collection of Ogre articles posted to www.sjgames.com. In the original Ogrezine Kickstarter project, we wrote: "If it goes well, it might even become an annual thing."

It went well, and we're back. Let's create Ogrezine 2!

All the articles will be released publicly online. When they are all done, we’ll create a PDF of them all and send it to supporters. The PDF will be available for sale on warehouse23.com.

Five new magazine-style articles posted to ogrezine.sjgames.com as HTML pages on October 19, October 26, November 16, November 30, and December 7 (all Fridays). Collected as a PDF for supporters after all stretch goals are dealt with.

$3 - PDF collecting the five articles, with a cover by Brandon Moore, plus a bonus or two. Ships March 2019.

$28 (plus shipping to be charged separately in BackerKit) - PDF plus Ogre Playmat M2. Playmat ships in December 2018, PDF ships in March 2019. NOTE: Ogre Playmat M2 artwork not final. We will post an updated image before this Kickstarter project closes.

$53 (plus shipping to be charged separately in BackerKit) - PDF plus Ogre Playmat M1 and Ogre Playmat M2. Playmats ship in December 2018, PDF ships in March 2019. NOTE: Ogre Playmat M2 artwork not final. We will post an updated image before this Kickstarter project closes.

$88 (plus shipping to be charged separately in BackerKit) - PDF plus Ogre Playmat M1, Ogre Playmat M2, and the Ogre Miniatures, Second Edition rulebook. Playmats and rulebook ship in December 2018, PDF ships in March 2019. NOTE: Ogre Playmat M2 artwork not final. We will post an updated image before this Kickstarter project closes.

After the Kickstarter project closes, and after all pledges are collected, we will open the BackerKit pledge manager. There, you will tell us your Warehouse 23 email address, provide your physical address, and pay for shipping.

As of project launch, we estimate U.S. shipping at:

  • $28 - Playmat M2 - $12
  • $53 - Playmats M1 and M2 - $16
  • $88 - Playmats M1 and M2, and Ogre Miniatures Rulebook - $20

Please remember that these are estimates. Final shipping costs will be determined and charged through BackerKit after the project closes.

For estimated international shipping rates, please check the FAQ.

Please note that any taxes or customs fees are exclusively your responsibility, and these fees will be determined when the shipment arrives in your country. We also cannot guarantee that an order will not be confiscated or rejected by your country's customs.

If you wish, you may choose to use a fulfillment service. This allows you to pledge for the project and then provide us with a U.S. address for delivery of your rewards. Forwarding from the fulfillment service, as well as any local fees, is your responsibility when using a fulfillment company.

Risks and challenges

Steve Jackson Games is an established game publisher with a successful track record and we have enough Kickstarter experience to deal with issues should they arise. The physical items are either already being produced or are types of items we have created before. Additionally, the PDF will be curated by the Ogre line editor and overseen by Steve Jackson himself. As we've done in the past, we will stay in touch with our backers during and after the Kickstarter, all the way through fulfillment of the rewards.
