We're standing here with a big-ass box of "Smoke and Mirrors" DVD's... a long time coming. They start shipping this week. Thanks to one and all.

At long last, Smoke and Mirrors will see the light of day. We're proud to be the closing film for this year's Future Shorts Film Festival, San Francisco edition. The screening is this Thursday evening at San Francisco's Firehouse 8; Scott and Chris will be on hand for a Q&A afterward, and tickets are on sale at Brown Paper Tickets.

Even better, DVD's are being duplicated this week, which means premiums will finally be sent out to all of our backers within the next two weeks. We need to double-check mailing addresses for some of you, so you may receive a note from Scott to confirm your whereabouts very soon.

We want to thank everyone for their patience. It's been a long road, and we're all about to meet at the end of it.

Cheers,

Hey folks, A brief update by way of a couple of tidbits... first, Craig finished the book, after a long and exhausting eight years. Manuscript versions are due to a few of our backers; Craig is currently awaiting notes from a handful of trusted readers, and plans to finish a re-write before the holidays are through. The next version will thus be sent into the wilds of the New York literary world, and that's the same version that'll be printed, signed and sent to those backers before the year is out. In other news, Scott Krinsky and Chris McGilvray are in Los Angeles as we speak, working on color corrections for the final edit of the finished product. The premiums are in the process of being packaged up, and are just awaiting the DVD's. More soon, —6fF

"It's a bird... it's a... wait... nope, definitely a bird."

We're closing in. The visual effects are 99% finished, and all that remains is the color correction. We're so close, in fact, that we've sent a rough cut to the good folks at Fantastic Fest, for consideration for their 2014 festival in Austin, Texas. Our fingers are crossed on that front, otherwise our faithful (and patient) backers will be seeing the finished product very soon. Thank you again for all of your support.

Sincerely,

-6fF
