About this project
One of the Stretch Goals — which did not get unlocked — was to make the stock exchange fluctuating (the resource values are fixed in the basic rules), which would have allowed the prices of resources from the mine to rise or fall, which would require players to buy and sell at just the right moment. Enough to challenge even the most hardcore gamers!
We promised that this expansion would not remain in limbo, and so here we are to offer it up via Kickstarter. This expansion (The Fluctuating Market) includes a new Stock Exchange board and a new deck of cards, both of which replace their counterparts in the base game.
Perhaps this new Kickstarter campaign is the first time you are hearing about Rockwell. That is why we have also created a Pledge that includes the game and the expansion. This current campaign is the ultimate opportunity for you to acquire one of the last copies of Rockwell.
Note! The shipping costs of your Pledge Level and Add-Ons will be collected once the campaign is over. See the bottom of this page for more details.
- A new Board II: Stock Exchange, which replaces the original one.
- A new deck of 64 Extraction cards, which replaces the original deck.
Rockwell: The Fluctuating Market comes in a zip-sealed bag to minimize waste and shipping costs. Once you receive it, simply add it to your Rockwell box.

Risks and challenges
Production of Rockwell:
The Fluctuating Market will take place in Europe (in Belgium or Spain, depending on the quantity we produce) and therefore poses no concerns about delays, because we are working with the same subcontractors with whom we usually work. We know their production processes, and are already adapted to them.
The graphic design is our first task — before publishing the game — which will allow us to anticipate most of the technical problems we could encounter. But the production of Rockwell: The Fluctuating Market is actually quite simple.
If, however, any problems or delays should arise for reasons beyond our control, we will dutifully inform you via regular updates.
The Fluctuating Market, we currently are working on publishing other games which could (on a case-by-case basis) end up becoming Kickstarter campaigns. A new printing of Sushi Dice is in progress, and five or six other games are at different stages of development.
