Pieron was just another commoner until an encounter with a mysterious woman and a magical deck of cards changed his destiny. Now Pieron is seeking out stout companions to aid him in claiming his birthright, the Keep at Glenfallow.
Overrun by monsters a century ago, the keep at Glenfallow now lies in ruin.
Will you help Pieron face unknown peril? Would you dare to stand beside the future lord of Glenfallow as he struggles to retake what it is rightfully his? Can you forge the destiny of a newly minted lord?
A host of monsters stand between Pieron and his destiny. The malicious goblin chief lords over his subjects, and dark creatures stir in the catacombs beneath the keep.
Will you gamble your future on The Draw of Glenfallow?
This is the first adventure book in the Tarot Adventure Series, and introduces the player characters to Pieron, a commoner who would become a lord. Securing his keep legitimizes Pieron's claim to title, and may provide the characters with a potent ally in dire times to come.
Designed for 3 to 6 players characters of 1st through 3rd levels, "The Draw of Glenfallow" is a readily playable adventure for new characters, can be used as a central adventure to your campaign, or as a complementary story to an existing campaign. This adventure module is generic with regard to setting and can be placed in any game setting you might use. Background material for the module is included for easy integration into your setting.
*As of August 14th, the current play test of this book is 48 pages long without the maps included yet (they are coming on schedule and will be finalized before this KickStarter ends). Encounters are very difficult, and require cunning and sound strategy to overcome. Enemies abound as this adventure is packed with seventeen encounters which have combat potential. Your group will be challenged, from a low level, to fight smartly and as if their lives depended upon each victory. This is no easy trek!*
The interior is beautifully illustrated with black and white, as well as some color art. With this book I have added color background art, to enhance the book's appearance. All copies for backer rewards will be premium color printings.
This is the first book in the Tarot Adventure Series by Sinopa Publishing LLC. Future books in this series will also be funded through KickStarter campaigns. So look for more books coming to KickStarter soon!
For this KickStarter signed copies will be available as backer rewards.
This KickStarter will offer a single, one of a kind art reward for one lucky backer. The original, inked illustration (black and white) created for one of the encounter scenes from this module. The majority of proceeds from that backer reward will directly benefit the artist.
Add on a signed poster!
Poster is of the malicious bad guy below, measuring 8.5 x 11 and each will be hand signed by the artist, Christian Martinez! Posters will ship separately from print copies of the adventure book itself.
Backer reward copies of the adventure book will be fulfilled through DriveThruRPG.com.
All physical copies will be printed as Premium Heavyweight color editions. As you see from the examples above the page background art is in color, and interior art combines b/w images and some color images.
You will find that the art in this book is simply amazing!
The book is written, has been through most of it's play testing, has been initially formatted and is presently (as of August 2nd, 2017) waiting for the cover art to be completed, the last two interior illustrations to be completed, and maps and ESS system printable map pack to be completed. I do not expect any delays from development at this time.
A portion each backer's contribution will be distributed to the contributing artists.
Since we have had such a strong beginning to the KickStarter campaign, I am adding my first stretch goal.
I don't have a flashy graphic for it (sorry) but after speaking with the artists, we have the following stretch goal to announce:
If the campaign reaches a stretch goal of $1000 we will be adding color to the majority of the art in this book. Anthony Ojeda was kind enough to begin work adding color to a piece he had created for the book. I'm adding that image below.
Stretch Goal Reached!
This KickStarter campaign is being launched to help cover production costs associated with development and printing of this book.

Risks and challenges
This is my second KickStarter Campaign, the first being "Tale of the Wizard's Eye".
The Draw of Glenfallow module is written and the majority of art is complete. With final maps scheduled to be complete by August 24th, 2017.
Final play testing shall be done by August 19th and final file sent for proof copies by August 24th, 2017.
Proof copies will be reviewed upon receipt and any necessary corrections made.
After review, final release version file will be uploaded, and print copies should then be ready within 4 to 6 weeks (per the printer).
Delays that may occur: Print problems and shipping problems are the most likely cause for delay. You may see a delay in receipt of print copies based on the time it takes to deliver to your location.
A valid address to a country I can ship to is required for receipt of hard copy.
I will be sending out survey after the project funds to obtain information necessary to fulfill backer rewards. In order to have your name in the book's backer credits you must respond to that backer survey within one week of it's transmission.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
